I normally would not write a negative review about a vendor, and thought long and hard about it. My wedding was a relatively small affair costing $18,000, of which the flowers were $3,000. That’s not a huge budget, but should have been enough for something intimate and elegant. I went to Aria Style many months ahead of time and we talked color and style. I said I didn’t like the standard round bouquets, so John suggested a branch ring with hanging orchids. At a second later visit, I told John that my husband and I didn’t particularly like that idea for the bouquet. We wanted a mixed bunch of flowers with a cascade of orchids. My daughter was with me and witnessed John’s agreement with that idea. We also decided that for the church ceremony, we would have a sheer backdrop with willow branches at the top with flowers cascading from it. I even showed John pictures. John never had me in again to show me the exact design and flowers. I can only tell others - Don’t ever make that mistake, because not seeing his exact design and flowers ruined my wedding. I went to the church early and walked down the aisle with my daughter before everyone arrived. The ceremony backdrop had a few sad stringly lines (literally string) with bright unattractive flowers. We had to remove a third of them to make it even presentable. We then went into the back room where my bouquet was. It consisted of a 1.5 foot diameter circle of straggly willow branches with about four flowers hanging down on more string. The words that came out of my daughters mouth were “Oh my God, it looks like a second grade craft project.” It was so horrendous I was literally speechless. It was as though John had never heard anything about my final selection, and even discounting that, the articulation of his original concept was unbelievably bad. My daughter’s husband went to QFC and brought back three dozen flowers from which we had to hastily craft a bouquet. It was NOT special. Now every time I look at my wedding photos, I see the grocery store flowers we had to throw together. This chain of events was so stressful that it completely ruined the ceremony for me. I had wanted a simple, elegant ceremony and instead I got a plain cheap looking ceremony. I would not recommend Aria Style for any occasion under any circumstance.

My daughter was married last weekend at the Edgewater Hotel. We chose Aria Style for the flowers because they were setting up for a wedding the first time we went to look at the venue, and we liked what we saw. We had one meeting with John many months prior to the wedding. Because my daughter and i have very different tastes in flower types and colors, I wasnt sure we would both be happy with the result. I was mistaken! John created the most beautiful bouquets and table arrangements I have ever seen. The flowers were of very high quality, healthy, and worth every cent we paid. I would give Aria Style and John the very highest recommendation. Thank you so much, John!

John and his team from ARIA provided the majority of the decorations for our ceremony and reception. We had to plan the entire wedding from out of state, which made things difficult for both John and ourselves, as we did not get a chance to meet until the day of our ceremony. During the planning, John was extremely helpful and very receptive to our ideas, as well as providing excellent feedback and guidance. From the arch, bouquets, and centerpieces, every single one of our expectations were blown away. This is a group that takes a lot of pride in their work, and it very much shows. I would highly recommend ARIA to anyone getting married in the Seattle area.

John and the Aria team were absolutely amazing to work with. From the preliminary meetings, to the design, to the install it was all effortless and organized, making the day of the wedding an absolute breeze. He is truly the invisible the day of just magically making it all happen! We had an 140 person wedding at the Edgewater and the end results were gorgeous, and his sense of calm kept everyone else calm on the day of.

It was so nice to call Aria & order flowers directly from a local business. Real Seattlites, good communication, beautiful flowers, same-day delivery. Local florists have better value (& even price) than online florist sites--hands down! Erin
