The Paulinator

We stopped in Index on a general site-seeing tour of the area. The area is of course extremely beautiful due to the mountains and the Skykomish river. Its breathtaking. But we stopped at the general store and got a loaf of the bread that they sell there. It was the best thing I (and all the rest of us) had eaten in a long time. It was awesome. Do not pass by this area without trying the bread from the general store and seeing this gem of a city tucked into the mountains. It was easily the highlight of our day trip.

This place is not my favourite. I did try to make shopping here about 4 or 5 times, but I rather drive to Gold Bar. It is good enough if you need just some canned food, beer or soda. Compare to last year, this year is little better organized inside and cleaner but anytime I go there I am sure I will find expired products. The most expired was black peppar exp. 1994 but on shelf 2015 - not a joke! In general, locals I know are not happy about this place, quality and customer service can be much better - they say.
