I get to Hurds about once a month during the boating season. The folks are friendly and helpful, and the prices are pretty decent; zincs are about 70% of what they are at West Marine and the stainless hardware seems reasonable; you can pick it out yourself. They dont have a lot of stuff in stock (such as impellers) but a helpful agent there told me that they can order anything from their marine catalog and then you can pick it up without shipping charges. Im going to try that soon. Note that they are not open Sundays. That itself tells you a little about Hurds, a friendly family-oriented place.
