I have used this place for some time and theyre typically semi helpful at best. This last time I called, looking for a connector clip for a fuel line quick connector. Turns out they sale several different types, as well as fuel line repair kits with some nylon fuel line attached, which is pretty nice, considering the woman I spoke to at the louetta/strack store said they had nothing of the sort. Said the warehouse didnt even stock it. I thought maybe it was terminology but I am certain I asked for a "fuel line repair kit" or "quick connector clip," as they are called in the store. A friend assured me they sold them, so I went in next day and guess what I found a whole bunch of? Im highly disappointed in the lack of knowledge they have of their own products as I almost wasted a bunch of money putting my car in the shop over a 5 dollar fastening device that these people should be fully aware they sale and have on hand. I left advance and did my shopping elsewhere where the clerk knew exactly what I was talking about and where it was. Its great that they actually had the part, but I cant do business with people who wont make sure their employees are knowledgeable about the products they sale. That wont fly for me in my industry and I wont support those elsewhere who are ignorant of their own goods. Done shopping at Advance Auto...

When my 2010 GTIs battery went bad they didnt have one in stock. They called around to other stores and found a store that had it in stock. The store was in Tomball. They even offered to pick it up on their next run if I didnt want to drive that far. Bottom line great customer service. A trait in short supply these days.

Just lost a 10 year customer. Came in to warranty my battery. The woman who tested it told me it wasnt bad and proceeded to try and sell me a fuel additive. Saying it would make my battery work better........ WHAT? Anyway I went to autozone down the street and my battery immediately tested bad. Ouchhhh bye bye advanced

The worst customer service. Will not abide by warranty. They kept battery charging then said it was alternator. When bought new battery no more problems. They are the worst
