Owner is ignorant, disrespectful, irresponsible, and possibly racist. He and his associates need a history lesson on why it can be viewed as racist to call an African American person girl or boy. Not only is it condescending and disrespectful, it is a term derived from racism in history. Slave owners referred to African people as "girl" or "boy" as a way to lessen them. This term was used to demean and disrespect the slaves. I have no idea why they felt it appropriate to call me this. When I told the associate that my name is not girl and that I should be called maam, he told me I was not a maam. Well I am clearly a grown woman, so I dont see how that term does not apply to me. The owner didnt care at all, and appeared to accept this behavior as warranted. All he did was continue to ask me, "What do you want me to do?" Perhaps as a owner you could have the tact to correct your associate who may not be aware of how the term is disparaging. You could have some class and empathize when your customers are not treated properly, and you could have the decency to apologize. I did not make a purchase today due to this and I encourage other African American people in this area to do this same. He does not want your money, so dont waste your time. Go across the street to Quiktrip where you will be greeted with a pleasant scent and a smile.

I received a gift card for $50 bucks. Everytime I come here they give me an excuse that the system is down. The third time there was a guy that ammitted he didnt know how to run gift cards; he called for help and got $25 in gas. After that I showed up a couple times and they gave me the same story of system down. I was getting frustrated and stop going there even though it is on my way to work. Today 6/9/17 I decided to try my luck. Now today the guy did try and fail to use my gift card. He told me it declined, even though when I check online it shows a balance. Now at this point a long line is forming, he says something to me but I wasnt able to understand his accent and starts helping out other customers. Which I completely understand as I bet they were here quick then heading to work just like I am. After he helped out 5 people I was getting mad and told him to give me my gift card and drove away. Never coming back here .

The owner doesnt give a crap about people that come in. I came in to gas up and by some beer and my card did not work at the gas pump. So when I went in to buy the beer I asked him why my card would not work on the gas pump but worked to buy the beer. He quickly responded without even looking at me I dont know in a very rude too. From now on Ill go across the street rather than deal with this jerk.

Not sure if management changed over the past couple years. Every time I come here theres Indian music blaring, most of the employees are rude and several times they had no breakfast. Once they didnt even have any big bites. So I stopped going and now I go to the Quicktrip across the street where Im greeted every time I walk in the door.
