Did not have the best experience here. Purchased a new S&W airweight revolver there a couple years ago. He boasted that he got a shipment of a few of these guns in, when they were a bit tough to find when many guns were in short supply. I guess the first issue was I realized after the fact that I paid $50 more than anywhere else I saw the same EXACT model revolver, which was 10% more than anywhere else. For example I saw it at Gander Mountain a few weeks later for $50 less, their regular price and same at Kinseys. I know prices are not going to be the same store to store, but Im saying you may want to shop around before making a purchase here. The second issue was I filled out paperwork, they told me to come back later that evening to pick the gun up, that the call in system was backed up. I called later, and they told me I needed to come back in and fill out more paperwork that hadnt been done earlier. They just seemed a bit disorganized, or that they didnt know quite what they were doing. Ive had much smoother transactions at other stores and didnt have to run back and forth. The owner seemed a bit gruff and not the friendliest of characters. Im not saying Id never make a purchase here again, or not to go here or make a purchase, but do your homework and some comparisons and not take their word for it. Hopefully they are more organized now. Im not the kind of person to just put out bad reviews, but having a couple issues and less than friendly service, I felt it should be noted.

Nice store with a good selection of accessories. Owner did a nice job of working with me to find an AR-15 (even though I did not buy from him). Cases were fairly empty, but he said he could order in any rifle I wanted. It also looked like they offered a decent amount of gunsmithing services. Great help and a nice store! Edit - I have been here 2 times since my first visit. Both times service was pushy. The older guy (i think the owner) made boasts that I wouldnt be able to beat his prices. I found the exact same gun for 75 less just 15 miles away. I did not find the store as welcoming and relaxed as the first time I walked in.

STOPPED IN ONCE, PUSHY. POOR SELECTION. CALLED ONCE ABOUT TRADING A GUN, BEFORE I COULD EVEN ASK IF HE WAS INTERESTED IN MY BRAND NEW GUN, HE BARKED " WHY WOULD YOU CALL ME ABOUT A GUN YOU GOT SOMEWHERE ELSE". ( I WON THIS IN A RAFFLE). I ASKED HIM IF HE WAS ALWAYS THIS RUDE TO A POTENTIAL CUSTOMER. HEY, THATS OK BUDDY, I WILL BE HAPPY TO SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT YOUR GUN SHOP. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO SHYDAS!!!!!

I found the service here was top rate, there was little BS strictly business. They have a skilled master gunsmith that solved a manufactures problem for me in very little time and at a very reasonable price. I was so pleased I have purchased 3 more firearms from them at very fair prices. I highly recommend stopping in.

The owner (Jim) is nice and very knowledgeable. I had many different questions and he took the time to answer them and offer suggestions. The store is somewhat small but well stocked. The selection of used guns changes frequently as well, so I stop by to see whats new and look for a "find".

Employees seemed more interested in making a sale than being willing to educate and help customers who are new to the gun crowd. We also asked if they had any of one particular brand firearm and they said they dont carry or order them. Limited selection. Last resort stop.

This is the only place I buy all my guns! Jim, the owner, is super knowledgeable and very friendly. He really takes care of his customers and works hard to get you any gun you want. Plus, he backs it up with great gunsmithing services. Definitely my favorite gun store!

Terrible Gunsmith. Does not display any knowledge or skill. He kept wanting to machine a replaceable, part that could just be returned to the place of purchase. Absolutely insisted on filing and cutting into my guns slide and re-machining the part. Be warned...

Gotta love this place, I just wish there were shops like this out here in CA Good friendly service and a great selection of products that is growing all the time, much better than the shops that have been around for lots of years and serve their "niche" clients

Was home, from Afghanistan, for 3 weeks and needed a gunsmith to change stocks on my M4. Walked into the shop and the owner did the swap, but refused payment and wished me a safe journey. Great experience!

Owner of shop created a new account to sabotage my auction on Gunbroker. He had the same kimber for sale. How freaking obvious you dirt bag! What goes around comes around.

Excellent experience! Owner had very scarce 30-40 Krag ammo in stock at reasonable price. 35 years gunsmith experience as well. Highly recommend this shop.
