Racist business? Congratulations on losing my business, my family members business, and my friends business. I went into the store with my friend today, who is 26 years old and had a valid CA drivers license. We selected some alcohol and approached the counter, wherein the fairly rude redhead working helped us after shouting over a divider wall to her co-worker about whether it was better to use such and such to mix some drink. I get she was trying to help another customer, but she didnt need to shout nor did she need to ignore us or the other man waiting in line. I would have overlooked this had she not had such a blasé attitude. But none of that is particularly important, simply an aside. The main issue here is this: I am a Native American, from the California Yurok tribe. I dont drive, and I use my federally issued tribal ID on a regular basis to do business and purchase alcohol. This store would not accept my ID, nor would they let my friend - WITH HER VALID LICENSE - purchase anything. I am twenty-five years old and I have every legal right to purchase alcohol. So thanks for kicking us out, acting like we were criminals, and generally having a rude attitude about the whole thing. I get that local businesses have the right to make judgment calls, but you just made the wrong one. The employee said her "boss was watching on cameras from home" so I hope you saw that, BOSS. And I hope you see THIS. Ill be spreading this review on social media and writing a letter to the Eugene Weekly. Have a nice day.

This place has some of the worst customer service. Went in looking for shaker and other cocktail tools, and the guy at the counter stops me as soon as I enter the store and says "what are you looking for?" (very rudely), and I told him that I was looking for a cocktail shaker. He responded (almost yelling) "this is a liquor store, we dont carry supplies like that," when in fact they DO. Saw them in the store and on their website. I guess they dont want business. Anyways, Im going to try coming in one more time. Im curious to see if their lack of customer service is consistent. But overall, I wouldnt recommend this place. After all, bad customer service should NOT be rewarded with business.

Everyone here is very nice and friendly every time I have gone in. And Friday afternoons, there are often liquor samples available! I also am pleased with their selection.
