this market is attached to a family home and has a mother-in-law apartment in the garage. it has been continuously open since 1937 and has changed hands many times since it opened. it used to be a popular lunch spot for high school boys because of the high fat and high taste food items including chili chippers and hotdogs and gravitos (fritos with gravy and cheese on top). They do feature a delicious and inexpensive lunch item, the popular chili chipper, a generous serving of fritos, chili, grated cheese, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes (in season)
