This was the first time using them and we bought half a pig. Everything was fine until we got home, unloaded and organized the pork to be put into the freezer. We noticed we did not have any ribs. When we ordered the pork we specifically told them we want ribs. We called & she looked up our order. She said we did indeed order ribs & we should have them. That was all. We rechecked all of the packages, no ribs. Plus they do not call you to tell you that the order is ready to be picked up. Cuts were done well, we only wish that we had everything that we paid for.

I had never been to a butcher shop to buy a large order of beef, so I wasnt sure what to expect. What I got was a very helpful person on the other end of the phone that walked me through the process of ordering 150lbs. of beef. She talked to me about quality, package weights, steak thickness, and how I like to cook my beef. She even recomended tenderizing the toughest cuts (at no extra cost) so that even the worst cut of meat would be great. Ill never shop for beef anywhere else again.

Great place!! The meat is some of the highest quality and ya gotta love ordering a steak and watching it being cut off the bone. They also have homemade beef jerky, which is incredibly good. There are are also very reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

Very clean and smells good. Very bright and the employees all seem happy. Ive been to two other butchers and by far Four Star has been the best. Out of the way for me but happy that my farmer uses them.
