Finally found a damned good wine store in St. George! Honor Wines on Bay Street. Beautifully appointed, with super friendly staff (I think they might be a couple) who actually know their inventory and have good reason to take pride in the very good to excellent wines they sell -- all at reasonable prices. Shopping there has been a delight. The heart in the window pretty much says it all--a loving, informed staff that represents the best of what Staten Island has to offer. If you love good wine, you can save yourself the trip to Manhattan. We have been blessed at last.

Im not a huge wine drinker but this is my place if I need a few bottles for a meal or a gift. They have a huge selection of interesting off-the-beaten-path stuff and none of it is expensive. The owners are very friendly and involved in the community, experts without being pretentious. Ive trusted their recommendations many times and theyve never let me down.

Fantastic selection of international wines. Only downside is they dont sell much beyond wine (no hard liquor) but thats also a plus if you like the idea of more shelf space for just wine!
