The pharmacists cooperate with those having special needs. I myself sometimes need my medication early. They do their best to accommodate me, because one of my meds is lorazepam (controlled). They will cooperate with my doctor if I run out a couple of days too early, allowing him to alter the specifications of the prescription so that I will not have a panic attack from withdrawal. (True!)
