I first heard about Matteo Family Kitchens back in 2007 when I was looking to upgrade my kitchen. They came out to my house, talked to me about what I liked as far as design style, layout, and some cabinet options, while taking measurements. I went out to their showroom just a couple of days later, and they had plenty of graphic illustrations drawn up to give me an idea of what I could do with my space, and my imagination was able to focus on materials and style... which they had plenty to offer. I had a really good idea of what I wanted ahead of time, and within minutes we had my materials pretty much nailed down, from the cabinet wood and color, to the floor tile and backsplash. From the original home visit, to the interaction at the showroom, to the great skill of their contractors, my kitchen remodel project was in excellent hands. That was in 2007, and my kitchen still looks amazing and fresh today, 9 years later. Of course, now that I was ready for a master bathroom upgrade, I went back to Matteo Family Kitchens knowing that I would get the quality of work and material I desired. Back at the showroom I worked with Steve and he put his undivided attention and focus in to making sure that I came away with the floor and shower tile that I had envisioned in my dream bathroom. Steve also helped getting all of the right materials in place to make sure the beautiful tile was constructed properly, as well as get me the best shower glass that this remodel deserved. Throughout the process Matteo Family Kitchens was extremely responsive, and willing to do whatever it took to make sure my experience with the renovation was great. I do hope they post photos of my bathroom remodel on their website, because it looks amazing!! I also have to mention my contractor Dave who actually did the work on both the kitchen and bathroom remodel. I cant say enough about how much of a great guy he is first and foremost. But, his work and willingness to make sure the job gets done correctly and to the customers satisfaction is unparalleled. Ill continue to keep Matteo Family Kitchens in mind for any future home projects.

I am not one to review businesses or rate them but I felt the need this time. I had Matteo cabinets complete my new construction home three years ago. Kitchen, bathroom vanities and counter tops. The reason I am rating this company is because everyday I am reminded of the imperfections in the cabinets. Three examples that I see everyday drive me crazy. First the vanity in my powder room they ordered too wide. Tom did not factor in the trim and their solution was moving the cabinet doors in closer so they will open. So now everytime you open the door it hits the other door and pushes that out of line. So three years later now it shows wear and has become loose. Next our kitchen cabinets are white. Well the cabinet facia has shifted down with time into the trim causing the wood color of the cabinet to show. This occurred about a month after the job was completed. They came out and painted it and swore it would not shift further. Another problem was my wifes makeup vanity top was cut too small. The first time they applied a huge bead of caulk (approx 1") to fit it into the space. When I told them it was unacceptable they brought in a new piece and this was better but still required too much caulk to fill in the void. To top it off the owners son installs the slab and it is evident the young man did not know how to caulk. I was on an extreme time crunch and just let these problems go thinking it was not a big deal. In hindsight I should not of accepted this but I thought they were minor problems and I could live with it. I just feel that paying close to 30k this should of been an amazing job. If I could chose I would have went with a different company.

Visited this local business in spite of the mixed reviews. Entered showroom..several staff helping others..other staff sitting at desks..never greeted..began looking at granite countertops..still no greeting or acknowledgment..proceeded through showroom..no one EVER said a word to us..at one point went into a back room where hardwoods and ceramic tiles were displayed..a woman staff person was helping another family..she left them and never came back to us..we saw her sitting at her desk as we proceeded across the showroom..actually observed a staff person attempting to assist a woman who asked if the countertop (think it was Schrok?) would scratch..he actually said that he did not know, but he was sure she could sand out any scratches..at that point, we decided to leave..FIRST IMPRESSION...BAD IMPRESSION..will never return, despite the wish to patronize a local business. I guess the "awful" rating was fairly accurate..we felt the same way...awful.

From the first time Tom came to my home, took the measurements of walls etc. (I was removing a wall) and then providing the proposed layout/set up.....to "shopping" in the showroom, the friendly atmosphere, professionalism and great customer service in selecting tile, granite, flooring and hardware, to the end result of a beautiful kitchen that I never thought Id have, i cannot say enough about their products and service. You feel like party of the family when you go to the showroom regardless of who you deal with!!!!

My husband and I had no idea what to do and how to go about the renovations needed to remodel our kitchen. We went to Matteos and found that Tom had all the answers. He visited our home, took our measurements and sent us the drawings in no time. We are so thankful for Toms expertise on what type of cabinets to put where. If you are looking to make modifications or a total renovation, go to Matteos and you will be pleasantly surprised with how easy the process can be. We are so happy we went to Matteos!!!

Our contractor suggested that we use Tom for our kitchen remodel. Our experience was good. Tom came to our house and helped us reimagine what our kitchen could be. We then went to the showroom where there are lots of displays to look at and choose from. The cabinets we choose are wonderful and the functionality of the kitchen is great. The showroom had plenty of samples set up so we could run through our selections to design the perfect kitchen.
