I have been going here for many years now, and on October 17,2016 I went to pick up a glucometer COVERED by my insurance. Turns out the head pharmacist claims it is not covered by my insurance. My insurance provider, the pharmacist and I are all on three way call and throughout all this time she is smirking at me , very professional of her, Bottom line she was reluctant to take the NDC# the insurance provider was giving her. She preferred to have shoprite lose a customer over a glucometer that was covered after all because I got the same glucometer at another pharmacy (not a shoprite pharmacy) without no problem at all. That is shoprites pharmacy customer service for you.

Horrible. Waited 30 minutes for the pharmacist to tell me the "insurance site is down" and if I want to pay the full price for my medicine. Why would I do that if I have insurance?! Asked the pharmacist to call me when my prescription is ready, she said "it migh be busy", so I have to call myself. Dont waste your time.
