We are a local non-profit and paid for PO Box at this location, a year in advance. Unfortunately, our board member lost the keys to the box, so replacement keys were paid for and requested at the beginning of Dec. 2015. We returned to the store on several occasions, only to be told that the new keys were not ready yet. We were told by the manager that it was her responsibility but she simply didnt have time to do it (she also raised her voice several times when our board member would stop in to check on the status of the key and expressed frustration at the length of the process). After 3 months, keys were provided, only to find that they did not fit the box -- literally, the key was too wide to even fit in the key hole. It was yet another month before functional keys were received and we had 24/7 access to the box again. We were refunded a $5 replacement key fee (we paid $10), but that is all. Our purpose behind choosing this UPS store location was the fact that its near one of our board members, but she is now moving to the southeast side of town and the box will be no where near anyone on our staff. Since we paid a year in advance, we have requested to transfer the box to a southside store, as the owner of this store also owns several others in town. We have been refused a transfer or a refund. This is despite the past 4 months of difficulties, terrible customer service and inability to use the box as stated in the service agreement. A call has been made to the franchise corporate office in hopes of restitution.

On July 21st, I patronized this UPS Store to ship some documents. I told the clerk I wanted to ship with the cheapest carrier for delivery no later than 5p the next day. This is where it gets a little murky for me. Next thing I know, I am answering questions for my envelope to ship via UPS. After I left the store, I thought to myself, “was UPS the cheapest way to ship or is that just what he chose?” Previously when I have shipped items, the clerk usually says, “You can ship UPS for X rate or USPS for Y rate.” UPS might have been the only and/or cheapest method to next day. My point is, I have no idea. One MINOR thing, when the clerk asked for my phone number it pulled up my name. He confirmed it was my name. He never asked for my mailing address and I did not know it was added to the shipment. When I looked at the receipt, the address was my old, old address. The clerk should have asked, “is 123 Smith St. still your address?” He shouldn’t have solely relied upon a database which contained old information. Bottom line – my package did arrive on time and I would utilize a UPS Store again.

Let me preface this by saying Tarin and her staff are extremely nice people and due to that I gave this store many chances to shine! Unfortunately, business acumen, customer service and working equipment to boot are not a part of their philosophy. I had turned to them as a go to for my business needs but the lack of efficiency and execution crept on to my ability to run my business correct. I wouldnt recommend using this store.

Taryn (sp?) is an absolute angel. Had a friends car breakdown in Strafford and ended up stranded between a broken down car and a junk dealer, trying to find a notary. I called UPS and explained the situation and before I could ask, she offered to drive and meet him in Strafford to notarize the title and assist my friend until the title was transferred. Great attitude and customer focus!

Had a damaged package and I needed there help all they had to do was send in paper work after 3 days ups calls and ask me to send in paper work I said I did 3 days ago so I call ups store said they would do it right then 3 more days later got another call still no paperwork when i call they just passed me around person to person and putting me on hold poor service

Great service. My handicapped mother needed help with some documents and the woman there came outside and sat in the van and helped my mom. Thats the kind of service that keeps people coming back. I highly recommend them.
