I had a VERY unsatisfactory experience with PRP Wine St. Louis. I found out about them through a deal they had on Living Social. It was $50 for an in home wine tasting, which I never got to use. I actively tried to contact the company numerous times about using the deal. I got in contact with the company ONE time, and they told me that they could not honor the deal on Fridays or Saturdays. This would be ok if that was specified in the deal, but it was not. I finally agreed to book a Thursday or a Sunday, but I had to check dates with some other people before booking. I called numerous approximately 3 times a week for at least two weeks following our conversation. No one at the company ever answered their phone. They had a voicemail system where I left repeated voice mails for Ben, but no one ever returned my call. While I never had an actual in home wine tasting experience, they were so unprofessional and hard to get ahold of that I will NEVER attempt to book any event with them ever in the future.

I bought an in home wine tasting through a Living Social deal, for myself, my husband and 8 of our friends. I called to set up the appointment, and was told by Ben that the Friday and Saturday bookings were reserved for their "regular clients," although the LS deal said nothing about a date restriction. Once our date was settled, I called Ben to firm up a time. No one returned my daily voice mails, and no one ever answers the phone. I had to cancel my event at the last minute, which makes me look bad. STAY FAR AWAY from this business. They are extremely unprofessional. They will collect your money, and thats the last youll hear from them.

I guess I expected more from a wine tasting. After going through hoops to get the tasting scheduled our "wine consultant" showed up 20 minutes after the party was scheduled to start. Then I had to step away from my guests to show her where to set up etc. She then rushed us through the wines. It was apparent she wanted to get home. She just wanted to sell her wine and get out of there. I would recommend staying away from this company. They use high pressure sell tactics, give very little information about the wines except telling us how they taste and 3 out of the 5 employees from the company Ive met have been just downright rude.

We had a great experience with Barbie Fleming the representative from PRP. We had 8 bottles, 4 dry white and 4 dry red as requested. She brought an extra bubbly as it was a couple days before New Years Eve. She explained the wines and the locale where the wines originated. We were all pleased with this company, the wines were all good, and everything ran smoothly from setting up the appointment to the tasting.
