I called this location today and spoke to a sales associate, whose name I wont post publicly. I asked if a specific item (a $32.00 nail polish set) was currently in stock, and she said "yes". Perfect! I got to the store within the next 15 minutes. I wasnt able to find the item I had inquired about, so I asked an employee to help me find it. She took a look, and said, "Oh yeah, were out of that, but we DO have this set..." and then shows me the "holiday" version of the nail polish set I was looking for, which had more items, and also was conveniently $25.00 MORE expensive. I told her that I had spoken to xxxxxx less than 20 minutes prior and had been told they were in stock. The employee stared at me. I stared back. Thats it. That was the customer service. I politely excused myself and left the store, seething the whole way out. Dont waste your time at this store, when there are several other comparable locations nearby with competent employees.

Dont come here unless you want to be profiled! I came here knowing what product I was looking for. I was asked if I needed help 4+ times. They obviously thought I was stealing. While I was looking at the product, an associate was on the other side of the stand "dusting". Made me feel so uncomfortable. When I made my purchase I stuck my chip card in and waited 15 seconds. I noticed nothing was happening, so I asked the cashier if the chip card was working and she replied "no". I was confused to why she didnt inform me 15 seconds earlier...... As I walked out the store I beeped because the security tag to the perfume I bought was still on the product (note I did spend over $100). What a careless thing to do...

Although I dont usually shop at JC Penney, this is the only Sephora option near my home. The first time I went here, I was worried the selection would be slim. But surprisingly, they always have a great selection of items for being the size it is. The staff is always very helpful, and really seem to know their stuff! I have been going to this location for a while now and am quite pleased with shopping here. Will keep coming back!
