I shopped online through Apple and submitted an inquiry regarding a Toyota they had for sale. The next morning I got a phone call from Phil asking when I would like to come test drive it. We arrived at the dealership within half an hour after the call, the car was parked out front and ready for me to test drive. Phil was friendly and did not pressure me to buy. I got a fair trade in value on my car. There was one minor door noise with the car I was purchasing and they immediately took it into the shop to fix it. This took a little longer than we were originally told but it was the only reason for the 4 star ratings. Edit** My car was making a slight squeal when cold. It started to get louder and more persistent. I was told the belt was new when I bought the car and it was advertised as so. I brought it in and the belt was fine, but the technician at Apple Auto had failed to properly tighten it. Lucky for me it was an easy fix requiring no new parts. Also, My 21 day permit is about to expire so I called the dealership to see if my license plates had arrived. After speaking with four people and being put on hold four times no one is able to tell me whether or not they are in. The last woman finally asked for my phone number and offered a call back when she has an update. Poor organization...started out as a 4 star experience but when it was all said and done I am not sure I would go back. **Another update** Received a phone call from the manager late afternoon on the day my permit expired stating my plates were in. I drove straight to the dealership after work, arriving around 6:20pm. I walked into the show room where there were two women working and one client. One of the women made eye contact with me and walked away. She went to the desk and leaned against the side of it, paying me no attention. I waited to make sure she was not with another client that I was not aware of. After a bit I ended up having to approach her and tell her why I was there. She reacted as if I was bothering her, walked around the desk to get my plates, and explained to me that their service center was closed so she "hoped I had someone who could help me". There was no offer to extend my permit and schedule a time for me to bring the car in or even an "Im sorry, the service center is closed would you like to take these home or can you come by when they are open between the hours of ___ and ___". I have no problem undoing a few screws and swapping plates myself, but one of the screws is tightened down to the point that I cant even get it to loosen, I guess it is a good thing I have someone to help me! I would never go back there or recommend this dealership to anyone. I work in customer service and this is absolutely not how you treat someone who pays for your goods and/or services.

I have had quite possibly the WORST experience of my life dealing with Apple Used Autos Shakopee. Not only was the quality of work terrible, but so was the customer service. I bought this vehicle in 10/2013 for 4,591, within three weeks I paid $800 in repairs and from then on, the repairs came coming to the point that I have totaled 4,201 in repairs and the vehicle still needs over $2,000 in repairs. When I called Apple Used Autos Shakopee to voice my displeasure, I was transferred to 6 different people until I was able to speak to someone by the name of Kristine. After forwarding Kristine all of my emails from the repair shop, and threatening to call BBB and the Attorney Generals office, I eventually received a call from Dick, the manager. Dick was totally in denial about the kind of product they put on the lot and the work I have put into this vehicle. He was argumentative and extremely sarcastic. I told Dick the only way this could be made right was if he gave me reimbursed me for at least half of the money I put in repairs, mind you were not talking general maintenance. He disagreed and told me that he would look at the vehicle and determine what was a fair price for a trade and finance. I let Dick know I dont want another car of this lot and he hung up the phone on me. Not only is the product Apple Used Auto Shakopee puts out horrible, but so is the customer service. This company dropped the ball on everything, from never offering a warranty, to over charging on the vehicle, to the numerous excuses on what I did wrong to the car. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CROOKED ESTABLISHMENT and I hope others are aware. Apple Used Autos Shakopee, puts out bad products, over charges on the products and then gets upset when you tell them so. I dont know how this company and its staff can go to sleep at night knowing how they are taking advantage of the working person. I worked two jobs and while going to school full time so I could save up and buy this car and to watch my savings deplete so I can make repairs is the most terrible feeling. I sincerely hope others stay away from this establishment and look elsewhere when buying a vehicle because APPLE USED AUTOS SHAKOPEE IS A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After having both of our vehicles totaled within two weeks, we were eager to find something safe for us and our four-month-old daughter. Having just moved and previously purchased our other cars for cash, we were hesitant to finance a new (used) car, but were worried about finding a car with great safety ratings, in good condition, and in our price range. We spent a whole day driving to dealerships all around the Twin Cities only to find cars needing a lot of mechanical work right-off-the-bat or dealing with pushy salespeople, leaving me in tears and feeling hopeless about finding anything that would work for our family. On the way home, out of desperation, we stopped by Apple Used Autos "just to see what they have" with no intention of purchasing anything. We were immediately greeted by Carol Madson, a self-proclaimed baby-lover and mother/grandmother. She immediately understood our safety concerns and vowed to help us find something we we would be comfortable with and (hopefully) by able to afford without financing. We looked at a few cars with Carol and another great salesman, Scott Trebesch, and ultimately fell in love with one slightly over our budget. Dejected, but knowing we needed to get this car for our daughters well-being, we decided to finance some of the purchase. However, Carol, Scott, and Chad Thompson, the sales manager, worked with us and valued our trade in a way that we were able to stretch the cash we had to buy the car outright. We have so enjoyed driving our new car and know our daughter is safe and comfortable in it! While we have no intention of returning the vehicle, knowing they have a very reasonable return policy and warranty (at least on the particular car we purchased) gives me peace of mind. The non-commission sales and no-hassle pricing and trade-in valuing made the experience such a vast improvement over our interactions with other dealers. It will be a long time before we need to replace this car, but when we do, Apple Used Autos has just earned new customers for life!
