Ive been coming here for years. Their stuff is over-priced and the prices keep rising. Last week I was there and I found a bag of Mini-DV tapes. I took it to the register to pay for it. After waiting in line for 5 minutes the lady got confused because the bag had two prices on it. The prices were a dollar difference. She called the manager over and the manager, without saying anything to me, grabbed the bag and went all the way back to the back of the store to investigate. I said "Its a dollar!". I couldnt believe she would waste another 5 minutes investigating the dollar difference! When the manager finally got back the line had 5 more people behind me waiting for the only register open. She simply removed the tag that was cheaper and told me to pay the more expensive one. Ridiculous! I asked how two tags got on there and she said maybe a customer did it! Yah, a customer is going to peel off a price tag that is a dollar cheaper perfectly without destroying the tag that is designed to rip if peeled off. How totally incompetent. Hey, you guys do know you get this stuff for free, right?! Pathetic.

This store is reasonably good. Overall, Goodwill prices are becoming unreasonable compared to prices on new goods at discount stores. Goodwill prices on donated Target goods are often higher than the Target prices. I rarely visit these stores unless things are discounted any more. The book discount days have been discontinued. I used to buy them to donate to local grade schools and reading programs. Book quality has dropped generally, they dont seem to organize them any more, and prices have risen. Im sorry to see it and will no longer be buying many. The books were what got me into the stores at all. As Savers has gone a similar direction and actually donate very little to the charities they support, I primarily donate to and shop at ARC these days as do most of the thrifters I know, which are many.

This is one of my worst experiences I have ever had in my life they, the goodwill management are the most disrespectful people that I have ever encountered. I have first hand witnessed the management disrespect their employees and some are slow and disabled people and the people that are as well doing community service are treated like dirt. The poor boy that was obviously slow said to me your lucky you dont have to work here this was after he heard me voice my opinion to the management. I turned and gave him a hug. I felt so bad for this kid. People just look at the complaints on this company. Im just getting started next is the better business bureau There are thousands of complaints and theres going to be a lot more. God Bless

This store doesnt even deserve a star! We bought or planned to buy 3 items two of which were pictures. One of the pictures had two tags on it a hand written one on the back for 24.99 and a regular goodwill tag on the front for 14.99. We sent it back to a manager and they refused to honor the tag which did not looked tampered with at all. The tag was the same color of tag as on the other picture which we did purchase. Was it really worth an unhappy customer for 10 dollars at a donation based store... I think not but apparently for them it was.

The new Goodwill on White Bear Ave store is amazing; equal to any other store in its category. Its easy to be critical of service anywhere. I donate and shop at Goodwill and the Sal Army for the good they do. I will never donate at a for-profit receptacle seen in parking lots. Please look carefully; its aggravating to donate only to learn that someone is making profit and taking advantage of those in need. Do the Most Good at Goodwill (and the Sal Army). Both operate more efficiently than any other comparable non-profit.

Love Goodwill..this one tho I was followed around like I was stealing something tho that was uncalled for. I spent over $100 and I made sure to tell the manager I didnt appreciate the tall man pretending to browse the ladies jammies while I tried on coats...then follow me to electronics while he browsed some more looking past the books he had in his hands.... This isnt my favorite goodwill but I pass it to work and back so I go more often than I want to.

Im not crazy about the fact that the CEO makes millions of dollars per year and they claim to be a charity, but this little Goodwill is well run. I found a couple of great shirts in excellent condition and the service was really nice. They have a wide variety of stuff, but the small size of the store limits their selection. I will continue to go here if I dont find what I want at the Salvation Army store, a real charity that donates ALL if its profits.

I implore you to shop somewhere else. Not only is the store always dirty, disorganized, has little staff to help, the location is horrible to get into, prices keep going up and the management is the worst. Management causes scenes in front of customers. Horrible experience I would never go here again.

overly priced, stuff that is used shouldnt be sold at the same value of something unused.. seen plenty of clothes and toys being sold at the same price of the store they are from, but have light stains on them... Might as well go buy a new one...

I currently work here, as a disclaimer. That being said, I enjoy thrifting here. You never know what youre going to find. Friendly staff, although sometimes the prices can be a bit high

Customer service unfriendly,... almost rude As a customer the only time I was spoken to was when someone was trying to get past me or I was in their way. One smile in the house

The store was pretty empty of merchandise. Had to go back in and get the sale price on a few items. The 75% off, was kind of a joke Not very happy with this store.

Very clean and everyone is nice here. You get what you expect from a goodwill but it seems like theres always a random find here thats worth picking up.

It is a nicer store then the last one, but the stuff there is a hit/miss; sometimes items are priced good and sometimes they are too high.
