FINALLY BEAT THEM IN COURT!!! This was a total nightmare. Bought a Volkswagen back in January of 2012. Thing had a check engine light when I TEST DROVE IT. Brought it back several times under warranty and they worked around the real problem ($1800 problem) by replacing small sensors until warranty was up, then it WASNT THEIR PROBLEM ANYMORE. Well guess what, we took them to small claims and WON. Then they APPEALED AND WE BEAT THEM THERE TOO. If they just paid for the repairs it needed originally, they woulve paid less than sending their lawyer to the court house 2 or 3 times. Feel free to message me if you have questions. These guys NEED to be shut down. They are theives, cheats, liars. The owner, Tom, even lied to the judge s face and I proved it on the spot. The car s problem wasnt the only issue either, theres a list of things. Fake carfax report, car was in a BAD accident and by some miracle has a clean title, needed $1400 of electrical work because of flood damage, they snuck in a $600 documentation fee in VERY fine print while everything else was in big sharpie marker. Like I said they re thieves. STAY AWAY BUYER BEWARE. Report ANY similar stories to the Better Business Bureau, I know that s my next stop. They should be shut down immediately. There were 30 other reviews like mine on here LONG BEFORE I bought my car and I wish I had read them before I made such an expensive mistake. Please save yourself. If you re still under warranty and think you have a junk box, YOU DO. BRING IT BACK. LOOK ON YAHOO!!! TOM POSTED THE ONLY POSITIVE REVIEW ABOUT HIMSELF FROM HIS OWN ACCOUNT!!! HORRIBLE!!!

I recently bought a vehicle from Broadway Auto in Medford. I found the car on craigslist but it was about 2 hours from where I live. I am very skeptical of used car dealers so I was hesitant to check this place out, but it was worth the extra effort. When I arrived at the lot I was surprised to see so many cars that I would consider driving. Most of the used car places I had been visiting had 2 or 3 decent cars I would drive. Broadway Auto had a lot full of nice cars and about half of them are cars I would strongly consider. Lots of Toyotas, Hondas, VW, BMW, Subarus and such. Many of the cars were fairly low mileage and the prices were much lower than most dealers probably because of the low overhead. The sales office is a small trailer on the lot. I would say the prices were about halfway between what you would pay on a private sale and a dealer sale. Tom was great to deal with and did not pressure me into buying his car. When I brought the car home I went in for an inspection sticker the next day and my mechanic said the vehicle was in great shape! Since buying the car I have put 1500 miles on it with no problems at all. The only things that were wrong with this car were the tires barely passed inspection and some cosmetic issues because it was a city car. I was aware of these issues before I even took a test drive, but they are worth dealing with for the money I saved!

I dont often write reviews but those on this site give Broadway Auto a bad rap that I personally dont think it deserves. Usually used car sales are difficult and sketchy at best. I found Tom on the internet and went down to check out his lot. I was surprised not only by the quality but at the attention Tom showed to us when we came onto the lot. He didnt descend upon us like a vulture, instead he let us look around and when we had questions he was readily available to help. We saw a few cars we liked, took them for a test drive and when we found the one we really wanted we were able to take it to our own mechanic and have him check it out before we bought it. About 3 months after we bought it we noticed some problems with the tires, we called Tom and because it was a problem he missed before selling us the car, he took care of it. I dont know about these 1 star reviews Tom was very available and was in no way a Cheat or a liar, perhaps these customers just arent well versed in buying used cars. I check his website inventory every now and then and when my son is old enough I will be coming back for another car. Thanks Tom!

DISHONEST OR DO NOT NO ANYTHING ABOUT CARS. This review is long over due, my wife and i bought our first, we where naive, car from them well over a year now. After chatting with the sales guy we where promised our car was great! At first we where happy, until the next morning battery dead. We spend 10k could they not have checked the battery? And there i started we had a bunch (4 major ones) of repairs on it, all related to the front wheels...first one was within warranty but they where already difficult about that one. After that we where on our own. So we are done with the car and turns out the first dealer we brought it to looked at it for 30 seconds and said you car has been totaled the front plate work is all replaced there where no VIN numbers. We might have been naive as first time car buyers, but the guys here must have known about the history (which is not on the carfax). DO NOT GO HERE

lying scum bag dealer, tom lies, he posts pictures of cars WHICH ARE NOT WHAT HE IS SELLING, we drove 200 miles to purchase a car which was described in his ad as 100000% perfect.. car had damage to every body panel, front fender held on with zip ties, paint was faded so badly it looked like the car was never waxed in its history, turns out the car had been stolen 5 times, in major front end collision and tom represented the car as never in an accident , he even provided us with a report which looked very funny, as if someone with a printer made it up saying the history etc of the car. we pulled a report from the big provider , my only faut was not doing so prior go getting their.. broadway auto sales tom is a bold face liar, run away from this scum bag, he lies as part of doing business and is a snake on the phone, dont fall victim to this person.

Save yourself the hassle and money and go somewhere reputable. These guys are SCUMBAGS. The cars are advertised to be in great condition, but it is clear they do not inspect any of the vehicles on their lot. Upon inspection of the vehicle I purchased, it had $1,600 worth of needed repairs. After informing them, they said they would fix it. When I finally got the car back (after trying to reach them numerous times), They only fixed half of what they said they would, and it was with cheap parts. Its clear that their intention is to drag their feet until the 30 day warranty is up so they dont have to keep their promises. Any positive reviews of this dump are likely planted by the owner or his friends/family. The truth about this business is in the negative reviews. DO NOT GIVE THESE SLIMEBALLS YOUR MONEY.
