I found this place by yelp and was a little hesitated at first because I usually go for places with 4+ stars. But because of my previous bad experience with a good reviewed store, I decided you do not know until you see yourself. I called in first, and a very warm voice picked up. He answered my specific questions concerning renting a traditional Chinese wedding dress Qipao. He even gave me detailed instructions on how to get there. This is a good start so I went in the next day when they opened at 12pm. The store is easy to target with big displace windows. I was a little lost with such a huge store. Immediately a gentleman came to help us. He even recognized my voice and remembered my name from the phone the day before. He kindly led me to the room with a large selection of qipao. The owner Phi came along with a big smile and introduced me to different sections, in terms of style and price range. With her help, I got some great choices. Then Chelsea with measuring tape on the neck took me to the bridal fitting room. She was so patient and gave me genuine suggestions on the dresses. She did not rush me to do anything and showed great understanding of me trying so many dresses to get to the right one. I loved one of them so much but it did not have my size…I was so upset. Two older lady came together to see if they could modify it but after careful exam they did not think it was possible to have me fit in while keep it in good shape. I was thinking wearing nubra to save space but they said Qipao would not look at elegant that way. I was so sad but at the same time thinking they are so honest and think for my best instead of just trying to sell. Chelsea suggested two others she saw with a different material. At that point, I was willing to try anything but I was almost sure nothing will look better than the one before. I was wrong!! One of them looked not so great on the hanger fitted me like a glove!! I looked so elegant! Even better than the one before!! I was thrilled almost to tears! When I was at the checkout, the gentleman from before came to make sure I had good experience and talked with my future mother-in-law. When he knew we live close by, he offered to give us a ride since he was heading that way. It was life-saving in such a hot day for my mother-in-law with her age. We had a pleasant conversation and Mr. Jack sent us to the front door. The whole experience was so heart-warming! It made my bridal preparation experience so much easier. Everyone gave me compliment on the dress! I cannot thank them enough! I would definitely recommend this store to all my friends and anyone who is looking for one stop shopping!

I cant say enough wonderful things about the staff and selection at Grand Asia! I found them on the Internet with mixed reviews, but it was a local business close to where I live so I made an appointment anyway. I am SO glad I did! I went with my mom and 3 bridesmaids to several stores and the previous appointment ran long and there was a ton of traffic. We were going to be VERY late. I called to tell them I understood if they couldnt see me, but the gentleman that answered the phone told me: "relax dear, just come in, well be here." I was impressed with the large corner store with gorgeous dresses in the window and classical music as a greeting; it really set the mood. I wanted my girls to look for their dresses first; they have a huge selection! With help from their incredible staff, who even plugged in my dying iPad, my girls found something that looked great, came in my color, and was reasonably priced! As for my dress, they have an amazing collection of Sincerity by Justin Alexander, which I fell in love with. I tried a few on that were very nice but not THE one. I left the first time with no dress. I returned a few weeks later after seeing a Sincerity dress online and Phi was delighted to see me gave me a big hug! I asked if they had that particular dress; they didnt but they could order it sight unseen; Im not that daring! Since they had made such a wonderful impression and were so friendly and welcoming, I wanted to give them my business. I found the dress at another store tried it on, loved it, and went back the next week to order it! They also do alteration which are very reasonable! My dress has not come in yet but I cant wait to go back to the store and see Phi and my dress in a few months; I also am going to check out their selection of shoes! Grandasia has made the dress search a one stop shop. I wish I had started there in the first place!

Oh my gosh. I cannot even explain how I feel. This store is honestly a hidden jem. I looked it up on google and it was honestly the best thing Ive ever done for myself. As soon as you walk in you are surrounded by an endless selection of lavish prom dresses. I was amazed at the variety and choice that the store gives you. Not one dress in that store was plain. Everything was unique in its own way. It was veryyy well organized so you had no trouble finding what dress would suit you. It was color coded too. The man welcomes you with the biggest smile and is so encouraging. He makes you feel like a princess, like you belonged there. There was two floors of prom dress. TWO. When they say emporium they are not kidding around. Its serious business but they make it fun. It took me a while to find my dress because I had a certain criteria set but the very first dress I chose was the one I got. It was my dream dress and the perfect color. I couldnt have asked for a better dress. My dress had an issue where the strap was too tight to fit around my back but the lady who designs the dresses found this super cool way to incorporate the loose straps into the dress. It flowed so well and actually made the dress look better. I loved the creativity and the good vibes the store had. Whats even more exciting is that they bang a bong every time a girl says yes to a dress. Everyones clapping and cheering and makes you feel very accomplished. Im from Maryland and had a volleyball tournament that weekend and just so happen to come across the store. So I am super proud to say that I bought my dress, a treasure of a life time, from Grandasia Prom and Bridal Emporium from Boston Massachusetts

I usually dont like to write reviews but I feel like I have to share my experience with Grandasia. I was in search of a Christening gown for my DD and the first place that popped up in my mind is Grandasia. After a superb experience with them purchasing my wedding gown last year, I just knew they were the perfect store for my daughters Christening. The first time I was there, service was excellent. Its a store where you feel youre family and that theyd take care of you to the utmost extent. Their bridal collection is vast. There is definitely something for everyone here. For my gown, I went with the Grecian style. It was Phi who suggested it to me and boy it was the perfect dress! The material is soft, flowy and very comfortable. It looked chic and elegant and I feel beautiful in it and my husband thought so too :D I had it altered and they did a fantastic job! Hands down to them! Ive had dresses altered somewhere else before and it wasnt nearly as perfect as the way they did with my dress. They really helped make my wedding day an unforgettable one. Sounds cheesy but its so true! During my 2nd visit, they moved to another location which really made my jaw drop. The place is huge with several sections for different events! Its like a one stop shop. Theyve expanded their services-to photography, cakes, flower arrangements and more! Anyway, my DDs gown is gorgeous! I cant wait for her to wear it on her big day! Many thanks to all the staff at Grandasia:) I will for sure be back if I need their services again.
