The cashiers are horrible here at this location. I went there last week and I bought 7 packs of sushi. The cashier was throwing the sushi in a bag and I said, "Wait wait you are dumping the sushi upside down, ok i will bag it", and that woman would not let me bag my own sushi. She was grabbing it from me saying, "No let me do it" and I was saying, "No you are flipping it upside down, it is getting all smashed." What nerve of her to be so rude about letting me bag my own sushi that i was buying with my own money. She finally let go of the sushi and I put it in a bag carefully then she threw a jar of spaghetti sauce at me down the grocery slide where you bag at while I was tying the bag of sushi! If I wouldnt have stopped it with my other hand it would have slammed up against the back of the bagging area and Im sure glass would have been everywhere from that jar breaking.Then to top it off she said, "Oh you have cute kids they dont look like you though, they must take after their dad." She was intentionally trying to be rude! Hey Rouses, you need to train your cashiers in being considerate and professional!

Totally appalling far from what I grew up Rouses to be. at 67 years old, I grew up with the Rouses father little old building. I never heard foul language ,quite frankly today was the first time. Im disgusted. family environment children were listening. one of the meat department people cutting meat wrapping meat whatever she was doing used the F-word very vividly and then denied she said it I confronted her. fellow employees heard her. she herself most of all God heard her. I love Rouses I am at one of the locations everyday never heard that before. My rating is a four-star minus dead employee

Rouses has a wide selection of products, ranging from fresh berries to different snacks. I was able to find all of the ingredients I needed to make a cake, including berries, whipped cream, sugar, and other items. In the same trip, I was able to find everything I needed to make several healthy meals without any hassle or frustration in finding appropriate, fresh, and inexpensive food. The store is well stocked and clean, with very helpful and kind staff.

I recently switched from the St Charles location to this location. Their wine department is 100 Xs more organized and they seem to have more staff on hand to assist in floral and catering.
