I was an out of state hunter and had a problem with my bow strings. I found Herndon Archery on the internet and called Steve, he came in on his off day and opened the shop to help with my issue. Within 10 minutes I was on my way back to the club to join my gang of hunters and in the woods for a lunchtime hunt. While I was at the store, I noticed and assortment of bow equipment and accessories and the store was very neat and clean. A shooting lane for me to test the bow that he had fixed was inside and warm. He also has a couple of campers set up on property for overnight stay for anybody who might need them. I would recommend Herndon Archery for any bow hunting questions, purchases or repairs you may have.

I hunted a few times with my uncle when I was younger. I didnt have a clue. After 15 years of not even picking up a bow I went to Herndon to have them help me with the set up. They were busy and the guy that was helping me made me feel like the only one there. I never received any type of condescending tone or reaction after asking even the dumbest novice type question. They got me set up, start to finish and I was able to bag a deer, my first ever, last year. I wont go anywhere else.

Absolute best archery shop in the area. I went into a different shop down the road from Herndon and the guy was pretty crabby. I am new to archery and Brandon at Herndon really took the time to explain what i needed to do to be proficient with my bow. He then set everything to my shooting style and even hooked me up with a few tricks he knew. The best thing about this shop is the knowledge and friendly folks. Highly recommended over any big box store.

Steve is meticulous and works hard to make sure your gear works to its maximum capacity. He built string/cables for me and then spent time on the range to make sure it shot well. I drove well over an hr to get to his shop and will do so again wenever I need bow work.
