Ive noticed office depot has become very hostile towards potential customers. We travel , and stop to use wifi at places that offer "free wifi". We stopped at the one in new albany, indiana. We were trying to connect to their wifi , but were not able to because they turned it off because they assumed we werent customers. They didnt realize we were shopping for a mobile printer and laptop... (we were willing to spend upto a $1000.) We wanted to compare and see what they had to offer without going in. However, since they pulled this stunt i have decided NOT to patronize this retailer anymore. I realize my business is insignificant to them but hopefully others who have noticed their indifferrnce to customers or the public who try to use their wifi will speakout and make them rethink their policy.

Worst store ever--both this one in New Albany and the one in Clarksville Indiana. They put me on hold 3 times for 30 minutes because the associate in printing wasnt available to answer questions. They cant simply state to a customer "were too busy right now." And when I finally got through to the associate, the associate couldnt quote me prices on signage, or how their website works, or if it ships to store or your home. Honestly, where are they hiring these unprofessional people they obviously dont even train well enough to respond to the simplest questions such as, "do you sell 3 and 1/2 foot by 1 and 1/2 foot signs, and how much would that cost, and will it be shipped to you or to my home???" !?! What a nightmare--Ill keep my business with vistaprint

I was attempting get get about a thousand copies made of irregular papers. The associate made every excuse in an attempt to talk me out of having copies made. Anything from $0.19 a copy, it will take a very long time, doubtful I could keep the papers in order, some copies may get lost. Once I informed her that all her excuses where okay and I did not have a strict deadline. She finally said. Im sorry but Im going to have to say no. I can not copy these for you. Could easily tell she gets paid hourly and not by productivity. Went to Staples and had no issues.

After struggling for about 15 minutes to print out a photo for my visa application, one of the store managers (Kathy, I think?) actually managed to LOSE my drivers license. I stood and waited for 30 minutes while she and two other employees looked for my license. She finally found it stuck behind a copy machine. The other employees seemed very capable, but Kathy was extremely incompetent and careless with my documents. You couldnt pay me to set foot in this store again.

I walked in the store I asked young lady at the counter if she can help me get my resume together because Ive lost the original the other lady of the counter assume that I wanted it for free so she told the girl that make sure that I let her know that there will be a charge even if I went to the public library they want it done it for free but this is the kind of customer service I come to expect in New Albany Indiana.

I use the Office Depot on State Street in New Albany Indiana for all of my office, computer, photocopy, printer ink and supply needs....always friendly and willing to help...supplies are always in stock. I would recommend shopping at the Office Depot on State Street in New Albany Indiana!
