I have a love hate relationship with this kroger. I love the selection, the prices, the nice new carts, and the cashiers are friendly (only had one off experience). The thing I cant stand is the produce. The salad is always low in stock, the broccoli is always low, and some of the produce is in bad shape. I even found some expired tomatoes not just a package, the whole shelf. The simple truth organic cherry tomatoes were dated 1/23/16 today is the 31st. I know its winter, but who is in charge of the produce department? Also, the "fresh" bread. I went to get some bagels and a loaf of sour dough. When I got home the sour dough was just regular Italian bread. Also the bread bags werent restocked so I had to use another bag which was labled wrong. The loaf was pretty tough. I worked customer service at the home Depot as a manager. We didnt leave the department till it was opening day ready every night. Stuff was stocked and neat. This is hardware not food. I will continue to shop here because I get it not every place is perfect, but I hope you correct some of these issues. Making sure stuff is stocked and combed through. My dad has worked for kroger for 20+ years. I have shopped with kroger in Cincinnati since I was 6 years old. Im 25 now and still shop for my family here!

I loved this Kroger simply because it is the best Iayed out on I have been in and I am from middle town, Louisville and Oldham county. I love the salad bar. It is always kept tidy and fresh. The sushi bar is great and always prepared fresh and the people who make it are nice and all smiles. I go through the self checkout usually but today i decided to use the lanes. I was greeted by a handsome employee who seemed nervous for some reason but quickly made up for ot by being exceptionally nice and ran the lane fast and efficient. I wish I could remember his name. The guy bagging was kinda rude but he must have been a manger type. As manager I understand that attitude. However the store itself is very easy to navigate. Tje atmosphere inside is friendly and pleasant. Whoever designed the building did a great job too. Nice clean floors. I honestly wish this Kroger was in my town, but for a quick salad lunch break it is wonderful.

I do not like the self check system .My reasons are it takes jobs from employees and that is part of the price I pay when I shop there . I get no discount when I use self check out therefore why should I be interested in helping to eliminate a Kroger employees job just so someone at the top receives a bigger bonus check . Because he cut a little person out of a job . Back in the day this person was called a hatchet man . My other problem with this is , I feel I deserve the same service that the person at 10 am gets should be the same service at 10 pm . Kroger does claim to be a 24/7 store . So shouldnt the service be the same at least until midnight? At this point we are going to be shopping at Meijer .Even though they are not as close they at least keep their employees working the registers and employed .Nowadays shouldnt we be looking out for companies that help people stay employed?

After I got credit for.50 on an eCpn and a $1.00 off three 6 packs of Big Red I got over charged again. It was the cashiers mistake. This time it was only $1.19.He charged me for 2 @ 1.19 for ONS GRN ORG but I only got one bundle of onions. I did not buy two.He must have ranged them up twice.I love shopping for my groceries at Kroger because they carry everything I need and have great sales but 8 times out of 10 they over charge me on something at the checkout. Most times I let it slide. If they make to many mistakes I come back and they make it right.I try to get all my groceries for the month because I live on Social Security and dont drive so it is a problem for me to come back and dispute any problems. It would cost more in gas than what I was over charged. My point is I get over charged way to many times.

The music in the deli area, where there are tables, is ridiculously loud. Customers cant sit and eat and enjoy their food with this very loud music, and Ive heard employees say theyre annoyed with it and can barely hear customers over the loud music. I suggested they tell the deli manager to turn it down -- but its never been turned down. I dont understand this. I would think they would be interested in customer satisfaction and overall shopping experience -- but I guess they dont care -- to have this ridiculously loud music (only) in the deli area, not the rest of the store. Also, when you go into the womens restroom, its very cold. Cant they turn a vent off? Its way too cold in there.

Horrible and embarrassed. I left my diaper bag yesterday. I grabbed a cart and put my 20 pound baby and her carseat in it. I went to customer service to get my bag. No problems there. But I cut through to leave and didnt buy anything and the cart locked up and the alarm started going off. Instead of the associate restarting the cart and letting me go. He repeated 2 times I needed to go through checkout. I had nothing to checkout. I ended up carrying my 20 pounds baby with her diaper bag in her carseat all the way to my car without the cart. Will never shop there again. Shame things have to be so difficult. I use to shop there weekly. I will start going to meijers

Several reasons for not liking this location. To start with, good luck finding a parking spot! Be prepared to wait in line to check out. Especially long lines at the deli! On two separate occasions, one person helps as another literally just stands there and stares at you while they continue to cut cheese instead of helping you while several people wait in line. The lady behind the deli explains that her manager told her that she needed to fill the express cheese & meat container which I explained customers at the counter are more important and Im sure her manager would agree. I would drive to another location!

Sunday Jun 22 2014 9:50 am My name is Maria Contreras and I have a complaint. Somehow every time we go to Kroger on 305 E Lewis and Clark, we get a very rude clerk. It happened again this morning. I was ready to pay and Tara the cashier was very rude to me. I am not asking for a red carpet to be rolled down when I walk into the store, all I want is a little more respect for us the Spanish speaking customers

Customer service is hit or miss. Deli ladies are friendly, meat department is helpful, cashiers... Depends on the time of day and if there is drama at school, or if they like so and so.... Customers do NOT need to hear about your personal stuff. Scan and bag and have a nice day. Talk to your friends on break. Management should not stand in self checkout area and talk to employees. Take them a side and manage.
