Well I know for a fact that I got ripped off here.. Got charged for a brake job for about $450 and all they did was replace the brake pads and a few minor touchups. I had thought they replaced the brake rotors as well and thus the price was somewhat justified, but they did not. This is a job that I could have done for $60 by myself if I had just gone to AutoZone and put the brake pads on myself. This could certainly just be a mistake or a misunderstanding, but make sure that you know what you are getting from these guys and how much a fair price is before you stop by.

Its been 20+ years that I have been enjoying these guys and their service. I just read all the reviews here and I know it was Kent not Charlie that does the responses... AND they are good responses. Being in the restaurant business I know how it feels to be blasted anonymously without any input. I appreciate the care and service I have always gotten and recommend these guys often, my brother goes there in fact bought a car from them a few years ago and its still running! Just had soem work done getting the emissions OK.God bless the Auto Doctors [yeah you too Wally!]

I drove there to have them check out a noise coming from the front left wheel of my car. When I called, they said they were fully booked for the day. However, since I explained to them that I needed to know whether the car was drivable or not they said to bring it in and theyll do a quick check on it. When I brought it in, they figured out what the problem was immediately and fixed it right on the spot! They didnt even charge me for the labor. This is the only place Im gonna go to from now on to get my car fixed.

The men at Auto Doctor are the BEST! They are incredibly knowledgeable about every car we have had. Most importantly, they are supremely honest and fair in their pricing. I never have a doubt that what they are telling me is the absolute truth. As if that were not enough, they are unbelievably nice. I do not have a single bad thing to say about Auto Doctor. I recommend them without reservation.

This place is a rip-off, and I would never go back. I had two bad experiences. The first time they worked on my car it wasnt fixed properly, so I had to bring it back when the one guy who knew how to fix it was there. The second they quoted over $700 to fix my door. I went to another repair shop that repaired it for just over $200. The people at Auto Doctor seem very nice, but buyer beware!

They are knowledgeable, fair, and engaging. We needed new tires installed and had tires shipped from Tire Rack (Auto Doctor is a Recommended Installer - this is my 3rd experience of this kind) and they called with a few good questions before starting the work to be sure we got what we expected. Ive also had some maintenance done on my MINI by them and the same applies to their car service.

You cant go wrong with Charlie and Kent. I have been there twice for major maintenance and have been very impressed with the service each time. And they get the simple things right too...like asking if they can pick you up or give a ride to work after you drop off a vehicle. Where does that happen anymore????? Take your car there.

I have been a customer here for five years. Charlie and Kent have been very truthful with me, telling me what repairs are necessary and what repairs can wait. They always call me to discuss the work and give a quote before doing the work. I live in Chicago but its worth the extra effort to take my cars up to the Auto Doctors!

Way overpriced. This place is full of scammers. They charged over $100 just to tell me what part they would replace even though I knew the problem. Then they were going to try to charge $400 worth of labor. This was for just changing a thermostat. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY 4X THE REAL PRICE

I paid $1000 plus for a radiator leak. After 3 months it happened again and blamed it on a different part. I had it fixed but had the same issue after 1 month. I never returned even though I get their spam mails. Go instead to Howard Auto Body Repair.

Overcharged for synth oil change. Luckily, found out 1 1/2 month later they had not filled the oil fully (2 quarts short). Called to inquire and got the run around. DO NOT GO HERE!
