POSSIBLE FAKE GOLD PURITY! RIP OFFS! DO NOT SHOP HERE! I went in to buy 2 communion charms from this place. The charms were for 2 Polish girls, so I figured Id go to a Polish jewelry store, run by Polish owners. After picking 2 identical charms that had an inscription on top that was barely readable I asked what the inscription said. It was another language that I didnt understand, the charms were for Polish girls, but I myself do not speak Polish so I wasnt sure what it said. I asked the lady helping me what it said and confirmed several times what it said. I was assured by her it said "my first communion" in Polish. I trusted her, considering theres no reason someone shouldnt know their own language, but I was wrong. Unfortunately after already getting them engraved on back i got home and looked under a microscope, then googled and checked multiple websites for what it translated to. It was Spanish... That was only the start of it. I already had them engraved so I assumed there wasnt much the store could do for me with those particular charms in terms of a return, but still thought since it was their mistake that maybe they would try to correct the problem in some other forms of compensation like a discount or exchange. I now believe it was not a mistake but rather a lie just to make a sale because when I called them and explained the situation the lady I spoke to, who I believe was the same sales associate I purchased from, told me in so many words that it was not her fault and basically there was nothing they could do. She said I could call the next day and talk to the manager and maybe he could try to stamp out the lettering, but other than that I was out of luck. Its now been 4 days and I still havent spoken with a manager after being promised he would call me day after day. During those days the staff became ruder with every follow up call i made. They didnt seem to care that they could have potentially ruined my gift giving experience for my nieces communion and caused me embarrassment among my family in law. Also during that time I went around to a few other jewelers in an effort to see if any could buff out the Spanish lettering at the very least. I was informed by every jeweler that it would be too risky, the gold was too thin and could possibly buff right through or damage the design around the letters. I was also told by 2 jewelers (THIS IS THEIR WORDS NOT MINE. I PERSONALLY DO NOT KNOW THE PURITY OF THE GOLD, IM ONLY REPEATING WHAT I HEARD. AGAIN I AM NOT SAYING THAT I AM PERSONALLY CLAIMING THAT I WAS SOLD A PURITY OF GOLD THAT WASNT WHAT I WAS TOLD IT WAS FROM ADAMS JEWELERS, IM ONLY REPEATING AN OPINION THAT I HEARD) That it was not 14kt gold, but rather 10kt.. Its now been 4 days and theyre not even answering my calls at this point, so it looks like Im stuck with 2 charms Ill have to sell as scrap at half of what I paid for them due to the extremely poor service and experience from this place. I have since shopped elsewhere and I suggest everyone reading this do the same. There are many other jewelers in the area who would go above and beyond customer expectations to ensure their customers receive the highest quality of service possible, especially when it comes to mistakes like this one. I recommend staying away from this place all together, it has truly been among the worst shopping experiences Ive ever had.

If I could put zero stars I would. I purchased what I thought were gold pearl earrings for my daughter who at the time was 2 years old. I explained she just got her ears pierced and will need to wear them until her ear heals. The lady ringing me up said that she would have no problems and that she doesnt need to take them off for sometimes unless I decide to do so. After about 2 months of wearing the earrings they literally broke and fell apart and were plastic inside. When I went back they said that I need to take them out every day and I cannot get them wet. What earrings can you not get wet?! When asked for the manager the woman working there said she wasnt there. After we said we will not recommend their services to anyone suddenly the woman standing next to us said shes the manager and threatened to call the police if we do not leave her store. This store sells deceptive plastic jewelry for ridiculous prices. I ended throwing the earrings away going to Macys and bought diamond and gold earrings for the same price that my daughter has been wearing for a year and has been cleaned regularly also of which she can get wet in the water because its not fake cheap jewelry. Do not buy anything from this store unless you want to be ripped off. Also, the customer service is probably the worst I have ever seen!

Oh, it was so nice to come here and to have someone help us who was "on our side" instead of concerned only about making the most profit. Rafi was superb in helping us find the perfect diamond and setting in the short amount of time that we had to select one. All of the praises you have read about him and his staff are true. His prices were also less than other stores we compared to him to at 888 Brennan. My ring is GORGEOUS and looks perfect on my hand. Rafi is so honest that when I was trying to decide between different diamonds/carat sizes, he recommended the smaller one because of my very slim fingers. He was correct! Rafi is an expert at what he does and his prices are great and thats why he has two more incredibly happy customers! Thanks Rafi and the entire staff at Ichabods!

I dont quite know how to explain it, but have you ever been to a place that just seems shady and you cant quite put your finger on it? -- Adams Jewelry is that place. Rafi was very kind, albeit a little rushed, and his diamonds were very pretty, but I think it was the moment when the diamonds started getting rearranged like they were underneath a shell on a New York street corner -- "follow the diamond, wheres it go? The hand is faster than the eye" We werent sure which was the D, the E, the G. "Can we see the certificates so we can know where to look for the inclusions?" I have to first figure out which is which. Then, you compare the settings and for our taste, they were a little gaudy. I just did not leave that place with a good feel. Hope you have a better experience.
