The spring cakes are delicious and go really well with the coffee! I got a sprinkles w/ Nutella and a cinnamon and sugar w/ Nutella spring cake and a coffee. The sprinkles one was more crunchy and both were not overly sweet. Combine that with the slightly darker roast coffee and the combination of slightly sweet and slightly bitter go wonderfully together! The dough they use is what sets this appart from other places. Its got the perfect balance of sweetness and savory. Be prepared to wait a little bit. Not only is this place popular (get there early to avoid long lines) but each one is made after ordering (which takes a few minutes) so they come out seaming hot. Finally, the owners are super nice and very welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend going here and look forward to returning to try other items on the menu.

Nothing special, pretty good cheesecake but its no worth for me to drive so far... I expected the pastry super good as they advertised and I was told over the phone by one of the owner ??? The prices are sky rock!!!!! At this point they are truly crazy. The cost of cake for 20 people is $120 !!!!! plus 10% tax. , same price for all sizes !!!! Crazy ! Why 10% tax, the food has much less tax in IL . They want to make money too fast....thats for sure Overall nothing special, rather wasting of time and money. Im disappointed and I do not recommend this place.

Came here about a week ago for some of their Spring Donuts that I saw online. At the time they were short staffed and very busy, so with all the back orders they had I decided to wait an hour until I got my donuts, but it was worth the wait. You have to understand that they are making these fresh, so being patient or ordering in advance would help. The owners were very nice and apologetic. I ordered one of each and if I had to pick I would say that the Cinnamon Sugar with the Nutella inside is my favorite.

We traveled all the way from Chicago to taste the sweets they serve but unfortunately we " kissed the knob" It was just after 5 pm and I d never think coffee shop could open so short time . Why is it like this? Your commercial on the radio 1030 was so encouraging .Who comes to places like this by 5 pm. Only retired people can manage within this time I guess. I must admit we were very disapointed.

Unique "donut" shop. These Hungarian inspired spiral baked concoctions are a new to me take on a sweet treat. They are a bit expensive, in my opinion, but worth a try. Service was personal, although this is not fast food, so expect a 5-10 min wait after you order before seeing your treat. They can be customized on the outside and inside with different sugary add-ons.

Very cute cafe in the middle of downtown Barrington. Excellent service, great donuts and coffee. I personally love the cinnamon kurtos filled with nutella and the vanilla lattes! Everyone was very kind and the location/ambiance was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking to relax or enjoy tasty European food in the heart of Barrington.

The decor of this place makes you feel like you are at home, the donuats are sooo tasty and simply wonderful that ive been talking about this place to everyone. Who ever is hesistant if they should make a trip to that place please.... its worth it!!! Kasia and Emilia are the most friendliest business owners I have ever met! Definitely 5 stars !!!

Delicious Delicious Delicious! ! Try the coffee and fresh desserts made daily. The owners are welcoming and so sweet. Funny people rate them 1-2 stars due to the fact the buisness was closed upon arrival, piece of advice: CHECK THEIR TIMES before you drive out! Definitely recommend this place perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Nice place with great sweats. I would recommend more options for the kids with smaller portions. The donut was delicious but my kids were not into all the fruit that was inside so half of it went to garbage, too much money wasted as it is not a cheap desert. Perhaps have the donut with ice cream only and smaller portion

Cute shop with friendly staff and these amazingly delicious donut-like pastries, kurtos. Absolutely drop in if youre around; friends and I were lured in from across the street by "donut" on the window and we were not disappointed by the food or the drinks.

Best bakery I ever been to. The 2 Polish girls are very friendly and the best bakers I have ever met. Please check them out. Its right next to the UPS store in downtown Barrington. They just opened coming from Poland and they need our support. Thank you

Expectations not met - even with all the hype, my expectations were sorely let down. Despite being very expensive, 6.50 or 8.00 per spring doughnut, the flavor lacked and the experience made me crave a real, high quality doughnut.
