Grassroots is tough to describe. They seem to do everything. Its basically a projection of the proprietors interests, ranging from rock and roll (apparel, live music, knick knacks) to food (local salsas, hot sauces, preserved veggies, bbq sauces) to drinks (full amazing bar, incl local beers, Bloody Marys like youve never had, bourbon bar) and so much more. Lots of love goes into the place.

Grassroots is Amazing. Great clothing for guys and girls. Unique gift ideas. One of a kind pieces made by artists. A venue that allow both young and grown up singers to explore there dreams through singing at open mic nights and local bands to play in a relaxed setting for the community. It is a wonderful setting to gather, visit and shop. Our Family loves it.

Joie de vivre

A very offbeat store, its a mix of things to buy that are kind of dive bar-ish, but very unorganized kind of like you just walked into someones garage that needs to be cleaned out. The other side is a place to get something to eat with some tables. Nothing against dives, but this had an ultra weird vibe. Definitely not for everyone.

By far the coolest and most unique stores in the Barrington area. You will find everything from hipster clothing to one of a kind rock art to skate boards to a unique assortment of beers and spirit. Theyve even added a hip one chair barbershop that is a must see. Totally worth checking out if youre in and around the Barrington area.

Weird hippie place that serves booze and has life music. Wish this was around when i went to high school in the area. Barrington finally getting done decent downtown nightlife
