I am so grateful for ALL the help I have received from your organization. Words can not express what a gift you have given me. A huge burden was lifted with your contribution to help me with my Electric and Water Bills. A stove that is safe. My home visit with Gail and Bill alone was a visit that changed my life, for I felt the Holy Sprit in my life and home. You see my health is difficult to control. I am a Type 1 diabetic and insulin dependent. It is very delicate with the fluxation of gluclose levels, and dependent on one of two of the most dangerest drugs. I have had this since 2008. Its just difficult. My children depend on me and I have been so very blessed with well mannered children who are good students in school. They keep high grades and are really great. I must Thank you for your help and Holiday Gift on the Dec. 20. I/m ever so grateful. Gail Cubbedge

Youre going to get a different experience with this store depending on what youre visiting for. For instance, if youre visiting a thrift store to dig through poorly-organized clothes, mismatched shoes, old toys that look like they belong on the set of Poltergeist and will move and function on their own, and "mildly used with love" sofas, this place is great. It really does feel like a treasure trove, or like an entire neighborhood of southern grandmothers pulled all of the things out of their attic and bought a commercial building to store it all. However, if youre looking for "steals" this place is going to have sparse offerings. As others have noted, theyre not the best thrift store prices in town. That said, this is a charity organization. Always good to support that kind of thing. I havent been disappointed in either of my visits.

From the time of the last review (3 years ago), things have changed dramatically for the better. The prices are quite simply the best in St. Augustine. The store is clean, the inventory moves quickly so there are plenty of new bargains every week, and when things dont sell, they reduce prices to insure that everything sells! Best of all, the volunteers of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul use all the proceeds to visit and attend to the needs of the poor in our community. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has distributed over $200,000 to the poor of St. Augustine over the past year alone...reason enough to shop at the SVDP Thrift Store.

By far the best thrift store in St. Augustine. The volunteers there are very nice and personable (maybe because I have been shopping there for over 2 years just about everyday). I walk out spending over 20.00 (big bag full of items) almost everyday that I am in there. They have everything you can think of at a great price. Womens pants and shirts 3.00 to 4.00 depending on the name brand, no more than 5.00 max. Nice furniture, books. CDs, kitchen and household items. electronics and more! Store is very bright and clean. I will be a customer for life! Loooooove this store.

Every week I stop by, might not go back. Prices have gone up so high!#!! It is given to them free to help others. I tried to buy a straw fish today and ask if he could come down from 12 dollars and he said no we just got this in. Really, keep your stuff. All the pictures in that place are old as my grandmother and there asking 50 and 100 for them. If there antiques take them to the auction and get your money. Sorry venting!!!! By the way the Salvation Army in Jax has 50% off every Wednesday.

I go here at least once a week!! I always find something!! Whether its a cute set of wine glasses..for 25¢ each..or an Ann Taylor pink full length coat in new condition for $7.00... Books galore..holiday decorations.. Baby clothes and kids clothes for so very cheap... Designer shoes and purses... I love it.. And the best thing is all the money goes into Catholic charities which stays in our local community to help house ..feed..clothe..and assist those in need!!

This store is loads of fun to browse but for the most part the prices are too high for used donations. I have seen things priced more here (used) than brand new from a store. This is a thrift store with free donations, yet they pump up the price which makes them seem greedy. Also, they have an extensive collection of good books...but again the prices are ridiculous

Almost every day there is a gaggle of homeless people standing around in the walkway. Customers have to try to navigate around them, and worry about if these people will harm them or not. Look, I have nothing against the homeless, but when they are harassing customers, and the thrift store doesnt do anything about it, then its time to shop elsewhere.

Being a thrift store the best part about this was its in the oldest city prices not exactly thrift store pricing but I think youre paying for where its located customer service was very delightful though we bought a few items that Im sure I could have got right here in my hometown of Ormond Beach Florida for cheaper but as I said it was Saint Augustine

Its a large thrift store with a charity. It gets points for being so huge, and loses points for being so full of junk no one is ever going to buy. Meanwhile good stuff sits in the rain and gets destroyed. Its also rather over priced. The charity doesnt do all the good they claim, its very hard to get help from them.

This is a very good thrift store. The prices for clothes and household appliances and goods are good. The furniture prices are on the high side but there are some good finds if you do not mind looking. They have a lot of good items if you dont mind doing some searching.

One of the BEST Thrift Stores around! A lot of people arent aware of the huge inventory of stock they have in the HUGE warehouse out back, which you can also visit! Great prices, fantastic employees, very clean, quality products, etc. Highly Recommended! Thumbs up

My favorite thrift store in St Augustine. They always have whatever I need; Housewear, khaki pants for work, crafts, backpacks, etc. They also help families in the community by paying bills to keep them afloat in tough times. <3

As a frequent visitor and reviewer of thrift shops all over Saint Augustine and Jacksonville this store has a rather good selection but one employee I interacted with was extremely rude. Not likely to return.

They always have a few great things, new stuff daily. The prices have gone up considerably in the past year, I always just price check questionable items that I may want.
