I took my dog to bark life for nail trimming, wash, and ear cleaning. As soon as I got there, I was already put off because they rearranged the entire store and now youre unable to watch them groom your dog (Theyll say you can through the window but you cant see whatsoever). They took her back and I stood and "watched" the entire time. Ill further prove you couldnt see here shortly. The entire appointment took about 30 minutes and then they brought her out and we went home. From the get go, my dog was acting a little strange... About three hours after we were home, I saw my dog scratching at her ear and I started to rub her ears for her (shes a hound dog with HUGE dumbo ears). As I lifted up her ear I see a large cotton ball stuffed in her ear. I called the store immediately and confronted them about the situation and the owner, I kid you not, says "sometimes that happens"................... "we use cotton while we groom the dogs so they dont get water in their ears and occasionally well forget to take it out". I swear I almost lost it. That is YOUR job to NOT forget. She then goes on to say, "its just cotton, it cant hurt them." Well no, maybe not if its only in there until youre finished cleaning a dog but if that cotton had gone unnoticed by me, it easily could have gotten pushed into her ear canal from her scratching at it because it was left in their for nearly 4 HOURS. I honestly cant even believe this place is still open with an owner who poorly handles a serious situation. Its even more obvious what kind of place this really is by the responses on these other bad reviews. Own up to your mistakes and fix them. Youve forever lost my business.

I debated about this review for months. I was a customer at Bark Life for several years, exclusively buying my food and pet products at the store, and exclusively using the grooming salon for my Nellie (schnauzer) and Tango (chi mix). On my last visit, the young groomer was rude, dismissive and dishonest. I was quite put off by her attitude and told her that we (my kids and I) were not used to that kind of attitude at Barklife. She told me maybe she wasnt the groomer for me. Well, I sadly had to agree, and have not returned to the store to give them my money since. Its a shame that the management didnt even bother to try to address the situation, rather told me if I wasnt returning....oh well. Barklifes prices should come with quality customer service. Sadly, that was not my experience. I decided to write this after reading the owner responses to other complaints. Being "protective" of your employees is great, if they deserve that. But this loyal customer deserved a lot better than what I received on my final visit. Thats a fact.

My wife and I love Bark Life. A little over a year ago I was told by our vet that our 5 year old lab mix was very ill with kidney failure. I was instructed to put him on a special food. Per the vet, the only way treat this illness is with diet. I bought the food but also visited Tammy at Bark Life for her input. She did some research and gave me some other things to try in addition to the vet recommended food. Six months later we had a follow up appointment with the vet. She was shocked that our dog was the same dog. His blood work was almost normal. I credit Bark Life with with saving our dog Tux. The food the vet recommended was part of the puzzle, but Tammys ideas were the solution.

Ive been going here for years, almost since they opened. I often times speak with Cassie. With having 2 dogs of my own and fostering many, they are fabulous with nervous / shy dogs in for a first grooming, recommendations on food for sensitive stomachs toys, etc. Ive never had an issue! My dogs love visiting as they are bombarded with treats. They will even special order or save items for you, such as the coveted knuckle bones. My absolute favorite part - they give back to local shelters! For one-on-one experience that proves that small businesses are better, this is it!

What nice people! I made an appointment for a mobile grooming, then had to postpone due to my cats reaction to thunderstorms. It seemed smarter to wait until he could be calm for his first mobile grooming. They were fine with this and rescheduling was not a problem. Now my cat is perfectly groomed and looks as silly as cats look with super short hair. She did an amazing job of getting his hair even and smooth and hell look perfect as it grows out and be Cool in the meantime. :D

NEVER will come to this place again. Bark Life is not even worth saying that they are comparable to Best Cuts for humans. Karen does as she please and does not even apologize for chopping the dogs hair to her own chosen dumb style. Karen can say she has done this for many years but she has NO customer service for the owners who are pissed off over the hair cut. Weve been part of the Bark Life family for many, many years and I can honestly say I have never been to a groomer or dealt with anyone that care for your pets more then Mike, Tammy and staff. Bella was our baby and had gotten grooming with them for over 4 years, until we lost her to cancer. Our newest baby, Bailey, has been going there for over a year now, and love Manuel. Bark Life....awesome place, awesome people....

We had a great experience from the initial contact! we brought our two spastic Malteses (Frank and NIck) in and we could not be happier! Kelly and Karen were the groomers and our little loves had a great time and look great! This is the first time we have had them groomed that the dogs were totally calm (not freaked out) after the grooming. This is the place we are going from now on!

My family bought our little fluffy puppy in for a hair cut. He had one or two mats near his rear end and we told them to give him a little hair cut, but instead they shaved him down to a rat! Its completely uneven and patchy. If you want a $60 hair cut for your small dog, minus well keep the money and hand some clippers to a 4 year old. Highly discussed, never going back.

Great Grooming Experience! Read the reviews first and a couple concerned me. However, a neighbor had recommended them. We were temporarily caring for a friends dog (Cocker Spaniel). They were compassionate and did a great job! They also let us know the dog needed to go to the vet for some skin & ear issues. I would recommend them!

We love this place! They have helped me find healthy food for my picky eaters; I always enjoy the happy atmosphere and willingness to answer questions. . . AND for the grooming complaints..... I love the job they do!! They are cage free (very important) and I have always explained what I wanted and have NEVER been disappointed.
