I am a long-term, loyal customer of GNC. I have been using GNC as my only resource for supplements for about 15 years now. But, recently, it seems that the management on Missouri has changed their tactics. I used to be able to purchase inexpensive supplements at that GNC. A while ago, I tried to find a nutritional supplement at their store and they told me that only one of their products even CONTAINED the supplement I was looking for. I took a look at the ingredients on this "product which contained said active ingredient" and found that the product only contained the ingredient I was looking for as an active ingredient and had some secondary stuff in which I had no interest. I was shocked to find that the supplement they were trying to sell me costed about $50.00. I told the sales associates that I could easily find the active ingredient for which I was searching for a small fraction of that price, and left... Fifteen minutes later, and exactly 1 stop after I left the GNC, I found the supplement for which I was searching and I found it for $15. So, I ended up buying 120 capsules for about $25 (due to a bulk discount). GNC on Missouri, not everyone is gullible enough to pay $50 for a high-tech-looking box that barely contains more than a simple, inexpensive supplement that can be found nearly anywhere... including some grocery stores. I guess the moral of the story is: if you dont start carrying affordable products, instead of overpriced products that are more flare than function, your shops rent is going to be hard to pay. You wont swindle me, nor will you get another opportunity to attempt to do so.

Purchased some protein at a gnc mall store while I was there. Went to return my items about a week later to the store by my house in Clearwater Florida off Missouri ave. The associate (Carl) asked why the protein containers were all open. I told him normally I love products from this national brand but these new ones tasted really bad and I wanted my money back.. Pause for where this gets ugly.. Carl then was horrified to see that I was also returning a bag of their chewy b12 candy, because he is required to sell this to keep his job.. So he looked very closely at my receipt trying to find a valid reason to deny me my money back.. When he couldnt he looked at me and said "I wont do your return, youre too shady." ....Right in front of another customer. I then read the return policy from the receipt to him and provided him with EVERYTHING required of me to get my money back (original receipt less than 30 days old, photo ID, and original credit card used to pay) Again, he said no because Im shady. I asked for him to call his manager and he refused. So he told me to leave and I wasnt given the return policy GNC offered me.
