I am an avid thrift store shopper and I have to admit that every time I visit the Opportunity House there is always an amazing item I must have at an incredibly reasonable price. The furniture and home goods section is extensive and the clothes/shoes section does contain modern apparel. What really blew me away is that books are FREE- they only ask for a donation when over 5 books. That is a deal that other thrift stores should get on board with.I also enjoy knowing that my dollar spent goes right back to the local community.

The people are helpful and friendly. I just cant believe how high some of the prices are on the old, beat up furniture. I go in looking for fixer upper projects to sand and paint and there are old (non-antique) dressers for hundreds of dollars. WHAT? Im sure they know people are into doing this hobby and the prices are marked up for that reason. Not cool either way. How is an actually financially struggling person going to be able to afford that? I kind of feel bad for them.

not to happy lately. i used to love this store but they have a new employ and when ever she works the prices are to high. they had a toy for sale for 35.00 that is only 20.00 new.and i have seen here putting stuff in a cart and then never see it come out to the floor for sale. i think she takes what ever she can make money off of and sales it on ebay. i will continue to shop there but only on sale days.

NOTHING here is "overpriced," believe me. And theres new stuff to look through everyday. The staff is very helpful and friendly, too. Ill bet there is no other better thrift store between Sacramento and San Francisco.

Lovely place to find kitchen items, furniture, and CDs/DVDs/records. Theyre actually open on Sundays, Im not sure why it says closed. Only donations are closed. Youre welcome.

Has lots of space and merchandise to sell. Found a couple of items I liked and this place is worth a tour to hunt for good items at low cost.

The cashier was very friendly and informative. It is for agood cause when you purchase items. The prices are pretty good for 2nd hand items.

Heavily overpriced electronics equipment. They will try to get away with charging $200 for a $50 speaker amp. Ridiculous.

Prices use to be reasonable but since the beginning of 2016 electronics got marked up outrageously high, No thanks.
