On 6/25, I went to pick up two boxes that were sent to me. When I went to the store and requested my packages I was provided with attitude by a unidentified African descendant gentleman with a heavy accent that gave the most uncomfortable look ever like I was his worst enemy. When I asked for his name, he refused to give it to me In a very rude manner he preceded to hand me a notice stating that my packages were sent back to the sender since I did not have a P.O. Box account established with this store. Said statement was understandable to me, but when I began to inquire more information about my packages, I was again rudely interrupted by the gentleman and a female staff. After arriving at home, I contacted the 800 number for UPS and the representative informed me that my packages had been delivered to The UPS Store, #5984, and the system did not show said packages were sent back. She suggested I call the store (5984) and inquire if a new tracking number for each box had been assigned. I called the store and was provided with even more attitude over the phone by the gentleman I had previously dealt with; he even hung up on me and left me talking. I called a second time and this time the unidentified female staff provided me with the same treatment I asked for their names and she was just yelling and yelling at me over the phone and I could hardly understand since their english was terrible. I am at dismay at this moment, I don’t have any information about my packages and The UPS Store, # 5984, was not cooperative at all and did not provide me with the customer service care I expected of a UPS Store. There is no need to treat customers that way. I was offended and insulted by the actions of the staff at this store. An UPS store auditor or supervisor needs to do something about this or to make thing easier for every UPS customer around Pittsburg, CA. just fire this two individuals and get some real customer care professionals that have morals because this two staff members dont have any.

Terrible service and accused my fiance of stealing. My fiance had gone into the store to inquire about a rubber stamp. There was a long line and fiance looked on the shelves to see what there was on the shelves thinking he may be able to help himself. After not seeing anything and not wanting to wait, with no acknowledgment he decided to leave. The African gentleman who we believe runs the store, follows my fiance outside and accuses him of stealing in front of people and when my fiance said no he said he was going to look at video tapes. We have gone there several times since moving to Pittsburg, and wont be returning. I should follow up with a defamation of character lawsuit, but knowing the ups is a good company (as my brother has worked for them for many years)I may just follow up with a formal complaint.

The website says that the store is open until seven PM, but they have a little sign on the door indicating that they stop shipping at six. I arrived a little after six, and the owner told me about their policy. I complained that the website stated seven and he said he could do what he wants. He told me I should take the box with me and ship it from work. I told him that I took BART, and he then told me to take it on BART. It was a large and heavy box, and that wasnt reasonable. He kept saying that he was trying to help me, but he refused to ship the package, even though he said he would be there another hour. He was pretty argumentative and arrogant, and I finally told him that since he refuse to ship the package, he was wasting my time. Ill never do business there.

I sent a package from this UPS store. It was damaged while in transit. Even though I paid for the insurance the store has refused to cover the item that UPS damaged. The manager seemed like a nice person the several times I used their services in the past, but now the manager is being unreasonable and to be honest quite disrespectful. I would recommend a different shipping service due to the fact that I was sold fraudulent insurance. If you insist on using UPS I would recommend a different location.

Horrible! Lost my item due to improper packaging. Poor level of customer service. Staff is poorly trained. Manager will accuse you of trying to con the store if they lose your package. Its "your fault" and you "should know better" is the attitude the manager carries. Pittsburg UPS needs better management who is sympathetic to people who trust their package will be delivered. In this case, good luck with Sylvia. Pittsburg deserves better.

A lot of reviews on here are from years ago. Apparently the store is under new management. Tammy works there and she is very nice and very helpful. I never have any problems and I enjoy chatting with her when I come in to check my box. For those who gave it a bad rating, please go back and visit again and be refreshed by the great customer service and attention you will receive from Tammy. Shes great.

This store is under new ownership/management. Tammy has helped me multiple times with notary, shipping, and livescan services. She has always been very pleasant and helpful. I would give this UPS store a shot and i think that you will be pleasantly surprised how it has changed. Tammy has made this store an asset to Pittsburg.
