Friendly and fair priced! Between myself, my husband, my parents, and two small businesses, we own too many computers to count. So Crown City Computer quickly became my go-to place. Ara is a life saver. I thought I would have to replace two notebook PC computers because of their sluggish & poor performance. I didnt think anything could be done to improve them, but I was completely wrong. Ara saved me from wasting almost $2000 on new computers. He was able to optimize their performance and now they run better than the day I got them. Recently the hard drive in my MacBook died and I lost all of my pictures. I took it to Crown City Computer and they installed a larger hard drive for me with snow leopard and was able to do data-recovery for my photos. I would have paid more at the Apple Store just to have the same size hard drive replaced. I highly recommend Crown City Computer. They are honest, knowledgeable and have always provided me with great service. They have very reasonable prices which is important to me since I know I will probably be needing their services again soon.

I originally came in here to buy a caddy for my macbook pro hard drive because no store had it, not even the Apple store. It turned out I wasnt the tech savvy guy I thought I was so I ended up messing up the chip on the logic board and it looked like it was going to cost about 200 dollars to repair. So I thought I would bring it back here so that Ara could take a look at it and give me an estimate about how much it would really cost. I ended up getting it back the same day and all I can say is that this guy is one of the hardest working, diligent guys I have ever met. He had worked on it for hours and was very easy to work with. I dont really write reviews but Ara really deserves it and I would highly recommend anyone that has issues with their Mac or Windows to come here. Ive never been so amazed at this type of service, especially coming from a tech repair store.

Horrible experience. The man working there is completely unprofessional. Will not get your work done when he says he will get it done. Will not call when he says he will call. Will not follow-up on your order, you must. He saves everyones data- pretty sure thats illegal! Charged me over $300 to recover my data and put it on a drive that died after a month. Then, gave me a new drive with someone elses data on it. Im lucky to get my harddrive back at all after almost 2 months of hassle and money out of my pocket. Hes now not returning my phone calls or letting me know when I can pick up my hard drive. NEVER GO HERE. Unless you love to be frustrated and angry and have people curse at you when they dont do their job.

I have received my ipod back from Ara at crown city computer.It wasnt fixed. The below review is old but still the truth on how business with crown city computer went for me. __________________________________________________________________________________________ ***I CALLED THIS GUY HE QUOTED ME A PRICE ON MY 4TH GEN. IPOD AND SAID IT COULD BE DONE THE NEXT DAY WHICH BECAME 3WKS AND I STILL HAVENT GOT IT BACK.***HE WONT PICK UP HIS PHONE AND WONT RETURN MY CALLS.BTW IF YOU ARE THE OWNER AND READING THIS CALL ME ID REALLY LIKE MY IPOD BACK.!!!!!!!!***

Having been a victim of Geek Squad in the past, I was happily surprised with Ara at Crown City Computer Repair. No waiting for his attention, no waiting for the repair and all at a very reasonable price! I had spilled coffee on my computer that fried my hard drive and keyboard which were repaired and replaced same day. Better yet, somehow he extracted the data from my old hard drive so that I lost nothing but software! This was the best computer service service ever, and I recommend recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation.

It has been a while but I definitely needed to submit this review. Took my Toshiba in for a cover repair and the service exceeded my expectations by far. Not only did the cover get replaced with a brand new one from the company, they also provided me free cleaning and malware removal. It has been more than six weeks since then and my laptop works like new. If you are looking for a reliable place to take your computer and have it restored in perfect time, this is it!!!

Crown City Computer Repair - was able to recover data from a fail Western Digital hard drive where Best Buys, Staples and other big players could not recover. Crown City recovered the data - same day on their premises - where other places prices 10 times more than Crown City could not recover the data or failed. I am a CTO consultnat for internet based companies - so I do not take likely - recommending Crown City Computer Repair.

I had managed to format my hard drive by error, the usual thing not to do. Brought the drive in the morning and let the gentlemen know that this had to be done fast due to the nature of my work, and that time is of the essence. By the evening all my files were recovered in there original structure which was perfect and easy to use. Great work, very affordable and great result. Thank you Crown City Computer Repair.

The owner Ara appeared nice "before" he had my damaged computer. During the repair, he did not take phone calls and if he did, he would yell and insult. He also kept changing (i.e. increasing) his “flat fees” during the repair. I had to pay his raised fee to get my computer back. Worst of all, the computer was not fully repaired. I would not recommend the repair service to anyone.

I had gone to them to get my Dell Latitude Lap Top and My Friends Apple Powerbookg4 to be serviced. They had given me a time frame 2 to 3 days to fix them and 3 days to get the parts and it only took 3 days from when I brought in to when I brought them home. The price was unbeatable and the service was very professional. I would go back any time I needed help.

Crown City Computer Repair was very helpful and knowledgeable and I will definitely take my computer to him again, if I have any problems. My laptop was heating up and shutting down but I had no idea until he explained everything and he even told me how I could fix the problem permanently. Very reasonable prices and same day service!

Took my HP Envy in because it was running slow. The laptop is about three years old and needed a hard drive replacement. They put in a Samsung solid state drive instead of the normal hard drive the laptop came with. The new solid state drive is so fast I cant believe it. Its a completely different computer now.

This is the place to take your Mac! Ara was efficient, fun, honest, communicative, helpful and worked hard--he found out what was going on with my laptop when the Genius Bar and Di-Nos didnt. this place will steal your info, do partial repairs or no repairs, and lie and cheat. Please do not come here and go through the ordeal we had to endure. Wasted $300, the mac still isnt fixed and he wont offer refunds or compensation for a half ass job !!! Be warned, STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY, CROCKED PLACE
