Their food is delicious (especially the potatoes) for breakfast and very, very plentiful. However, if its your first time at the restaurant, like it was for us, I made the mistake of putting some bills into their tips jar which, I assumed, would be because my husband and I would probably get good service. As soon as we received our breakfast, I asked the waitress if she could please bring us napkins and utensils. She said, pointing, "Oh, theyre over there. You can just get them yourself." I asked, "Why on earth then did I just leave you a tip?" We also had to get our own coffee and our own water. So. Bottom line: very good breakfast, just dont leave a tip.

Excellent menu with select dinner menus and staggered dates of service for dinner. Staff is always courteous or I would have given a Fair service rating. The downside is they are not always open for dinner. We visit area at least yearly and have only been able to attend one dinner. Tried to learn typical schedule and booked a weekend stay with theater tickets for Camelot only to find the owner s chose to close that night for dinner. Perhaps Gualala Theater can network their events with Trinks. Again, great one dinner for the Four visits we have attempted in the past two years. Great coffee and San which shop.

Very local eatery with some great food. Can only comment on breakfast which was quality but very expensive. Service was slow but its because of a small kitchen so just know you are going to wait even if no line (which there usually is) and probably get orders out one before another if you are in a group. No free coffee refills which is a big disappointment since their cups are small. Would still go back.

The bestest breakfast between the Sea Ranch and Fort Bragg. The most yummy cheddar burger and steak for dinner. Everything is made from scratch. Dishes are seasonal. Once-a-week tapas night. The joys of Trunks go on-and-on. Whenever I visit the North Coast I eat at Trunks and sometimes I visit the North Coast just so I can get a Trunks fix. FYI -- best cherry and bluerry pie ever.

Have lived in gualala for over 3 years. Trinks was my first stop and Ive been eating there ever since! The food is fresh and local be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. However the dinners are spectacular. Very eclectic menu, flavorful interesting selections. The desserts are world class. The pastry chef is to be applauded. Best pies ever!! Looking forward to the expansion next door.

Recently went for taco night. First time to have dinner at Trinks. Tacos were pretty horrible. The fried chicken taco tasted of burned fried chicken. The fish taco was mushy and disgusting almost inedible. The only decent taco of the three taco dinner plate was the shrimp taco. Fresh, tasty, wished I had three! The place was packed. But I dont get it, I would not return.

Such great breakfast sandwiches....the only, very small complaint I have is they never seem to have turkey bacon. Small, but when something is listed on the menu, but they always seem "to be out of it", it gets annoying. But like I said, its a small complaint and everything else is perfect so its not like continuously not having turkey bacon will keep us away.

Popular local cafe with a variety of sandwiches, burgers, soups and lighter fare. Expect a slight wait during the summer, but it is well worth it. Coffee and tea is better than average, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Seating is relatively ample, and there is a small patio section as well. Definitely best enjoyed and on a sunny day.

We stopped in by chance on our way down from Fort Bragg to Bodega Bay. What a great surprise they have a very laid back atmosphere, a great selection of things to eat and drink but most of all they have a friendly and helpful staff. If you are passing through make sure and stop in you will not be disappointed!

Wow! I remember when Trink (RIP) started this place...now her son Ross runs it. Ross, a professionally trained Chef, has done an absolutely amazing job. He puts love and passion in what he does. Check out his pre-packaged items to go. May I suggest the Short ribs. Chef Rich, SF

One of the few breakfast places in town. A little pricey, but good food. Great bakery offerings. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Beautiful setting. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly.

I remember this place as being a bit expensive but having good coffee. Was disappointed when they substituted my order of iced coffee with an extremely watered-down "Americano". Gross.

Absolutely the best blueberry pies! I got one piece and returned the next day to get more. Highly recommended. Peach pie is also very good. I havent tried their sandwiches or coffee.
