So furious with this place.... For a piercer who is "world known" Im not at all impressed. No marks were made for us to see and approve prior to the actual piercings. I had one vertical and one horizontal eyebrow that closed months ago. The location was clearly noticeable yet the piercer felt the horizontal was "placed wrong" so moved it. He used a bar that was too short which cause major swelling and pain and when I returned they were going to charge me for a longer bar. The piercings are so close that it is almost impossible to change the jewelry myself. It did end up healing and looks ok though not at all what I wanted and another piercer from another shop is changing my jewelry for me at no cost. My daughter got one side of her lip pierced to match her existing (for snake bites) two times to pierce it and it is still tipped and not even to the existing piercing. Also tipped was her belly button which she ended up removing because she cant get it to heal. Over 250.00 for four piecings which was not totaled until after the piercings were done and then they seriously wanted me to pay more to fix his screw up using a bar that did not even reach half way through the piercing. I will definately not return or recommend to anyone.

Loooved the Argentinian guys knowledge and customer service when I came in to ask about a nose piercing! The other guy was a complete angry elf when I asked about military discount telling me that no tattoo places do that (with a bitter attitude). Like I wasnt even talking to him and he butted in, so I had to concur and tell him the I did get a military discount on the earings at another piercing location. Like for time and service for a tattoo I get it thats the artists work. If it wasnt for the Argentinian guy I probably wouldnt go back, which I will be since thats where I got my nose pierced 12 years ago but once I enlisted I left the ring out for a long period and it closed up. Then I went to the antioch mall last year and it was a not the same metal or method and turned out to get infected on the outside where the flower jewel was. After he answered all of my questions and showed me the types that I was interested in, he politely asked if I was pregnant. Totally am 7 months pregnant haha, so I will be back after baby comes because today I learned it was illegal to pierce a pregnant person in California.

Called to see if I could get my dermal tops changed out. The lady said yes. I then asked if there was a charge. She said yes $8. So I asked is that per dermal or a flat charge. Lol. The piercer then said well it depends on how long it takes, you could have 15 dermal. Okay. So do you charge per dermal? She again said it depends how long it takes. It could take most of my day up. Next question, what do you charge for your time? The piercer than answered back maybe I should ask how many dermals you do you have? At this point it doesnt matter how many I have. You cant tell me if u charge per dermal or by the minute. This shop sounds super shady and out to take peoples money. I will never step foot here. Highly would not recommend.

Soooooooo I have had migraines for a very long time and then I read the article the owner of this shop put out. This particular piercing works for only certain people and I appreciated the honesty of his Feelings about it. He didnt push me to get it done but I felt comfortable knowing that this piercing could possibly rid me of my migraines. Guess what? Im one of the lucky ones it worked on! Dont knock it til you try it.

Love this place! My friend, Traci, recommended them and told me to ask for Pat. I took my daughter there for a bellybutton piercing and I got a dermal and he was quick and painless. 5 days later, no swelling, no bruising (on the chest dermal I have seen bruising on other friends), just nice a clean and painless! I made the drive from Napa to Concord just for them and it was worth it! Highly recommend.

They where so nice and helpful.... she told me the piercings I wanted wouldnt work and then gave me other options she didnt just say no and then walk away like other places would have .... she went over all the details and what to do and not do and how it should go down .... they are a little pricy but I feel like it was worth it in the end hopefully this heals nice and looks good :)

I love Blue Star, its definitely the most expensive place Ive ever been to get anything done (ive never walked out spending less than $50....) but worth it for me because i am very allergic to most metals. my only problem with this place is that it is overpriced. nonetheless ill be coming back here as usual for piercings!

I got my first tattoo here two weeks ago and the guys were totally amazing! The guy who tattooed me, Chris, was a guest artist and made me feel really confident in getting. I also met Pat, Darrin and Nixx and they were all super nice and helpful. My tattoo healed in a week and a half and its beautiful!!!!

Nixx has moved to 3 Star Tattoo in Antioch, Kevin has moved to Body Graphics in Reno, Whats left? not much besides Pat. He is still the best piercer on the left coast. the big guy is the dirtiest tattooer i have ever seen. cross contamination galore and the "girl" piercer smells really bad. be careful

The place was amazing. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiles. I got my nose pierced here and we went over the perfect spot to pierce it. They answered all my questions and didnt seem rushed at all. Id definitely love to come back and get another piercing here.

The owner is a very nice guy and they do quality work. They take the time to help plan your tattoos and are cautious about letting you make a rush decision that yiu may later regret. Tattoos last forever and they understand that.

The staff is professional, friendly, helpful and always willing and open to answer any and all questions. My daughter has been here 3 times counting today. Prices are more than reasonable and its always clean as a whistle.
