I found out about Rise Above via word of mouth and Yelp reviews. After browsing the information about the shop available online, I decided to visit and investigate a bit further. When I walked in I was greeted immediately by a couple of the artists, which took me by surprise because usually it is the opposite in other tattoo shops that I have visited in the past. They allowed me to take all the time that I needed to review the updated versions of everyone’s portfolio and they took the time to answer all of my questions. After presenting my idea for my tattoo they directed me to the artist that would be a perfect fit for the style and content. I felt that was awesome because previously I have experienced “artists” from other shops would just do the tattoos for the money even though they were not proficient in that specific style of tattooing. Overall, I would have to say that I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shop, the disposition of the artists, and the amazing quality of the tattoos. Rise Above in my opinion is one of the best shops that I have ever been to in over fifteen years. It is very clean, the artists are very friendly, and their quality of work is superb. I feel really comfortable bring friends and family members to the shop to get tattooed or just to keep me company while I am getting tattooed. I recommend this tattoo establishment to anyone that is looking to get tattooed whether you are adding or just starting your collection; this is the place to make it happen.

Ive heard great things about the artists here and had been looking forward to getting a tattoo from one of these artists for a while. I went in today looking to get my first tattoo and was completely turned off by both the man at the front desk and Aaron. The man at the front desk was so pushy. While I tried to explain what I was looking for he cut me off several times and just kept telling me that they couldnt work with what I was looking to get, instead of offering alternatives. I considered walking out just after this interaction but decided that I would see how things went with the artist. I should have just walked out because the artist was just as rude. Aaron walked out with food in his mouth and immediately stated that he wasnt going to do what the man from the front desk told him I wanted, which wasnt even accurate. I explained that I wanted something a little different than what he had been told and he just gave me a dirty look instead of offering his professional artistic opinion to collaborate with me on what would work. I walked in feeling really excited about my first tattoo experience and walked out feeling completely annoyed and disappointed.

Absolutely awesome place. Very clean, very professional and they can take a vision that you have and turn it into a masterpiece. Travis was very nice at the front and accommodating while my artist Aaron turned my vision into a reality. If you are even hesitating about going here you are sorely mistaken as this is one of the best shops I have been to and it says a lot when the owner is walking around looking at everyones work and making sure that their customers are happy. You dont see that at a lot of places but this is one place that has absolutely and my business for life with any New Creations I come up with. By far worth the wait and time involved. I was highly impressed and fairwarning schedule an appointment this is a very busy shop and that says a lot. Sincerely the haunted house / Christmas tattoo guy.

I cant say enough about this shop and its artists. Shane is a superior tattoo artist. He is always professional and specific. Every time I leave I am blown away by his work. I go in with an idea and he transforms it into something unique and beautiful. The shop manager, Travis, is also a very professional individual who is always willing to lend a helping hand. From dealing with him over the phone to in person communication he is nothing short of excellent. The store itself is very clean and has remarkable artwork throughout. I highly suggest going to Rise Above for your next tattoo.

Excellent! After 15 hours, with many more hours to go, I can say the staff are absolutely brilliant artists! They have a work ethic that most establishments should strive to achieve! The only breaks my artist Bobby took were only to eat and not frivolous breaks. The staff is attentive and insists on giving the best art possible for your tattoo. Each client is paired with the artist that best suits the clients needs. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of adding another or making it your first tattoo.

We were here on a trip to Disney from Philadelphia Pa. After reading some of the reviews I decided to check out this tattoo shop.. I was shocked with how willing and ready they were to draw up what I wanted.. The place was nice and clean... My tattoo looks great! They were also very fairly priced.. ! I was lucky to get Scott as my tattoo artist and I have to say "he is amazing" he was very gentle.. This was my 8th tattoo and I have never seen such clean lines before... Amazing!! Thank you!! After a year of researching local artists and shops, trying to find the best place and the right artist that I felt could complete what I wanted. I found Rise Above, I exchanged a couple emails with Scott White about coming in to get a tattoo, I came in set everything up and scheduled an appointment, great service, skilled tattooing and a friendly atmosphere. There is a clear reason why Rise Above is one of the best in Orlando, when I decide to get my next tattoo I know where Im going.

My daughter and I got "WW" tattoos together 2 years ago. Both were added to previous tattoos and Scott was very patient with us as to how we wanted them placed. And charged less than the original quote. I am ready for a retirement tattoo and torn as to who to get to ink it for me. I met Joe at a hit and run crash (he was a victim) and have seen his amazing work too. May need 2 new tattoos!!! I have 8 tattoos and this is the cleanest shop of all.

Last May I had an appointment with Joe for a portrait half sleeve. The shop was extremely sanitary, and Joe was super nice and kept me entertained for the couple of hours that I was there. I get compliments on my tattoo daily, especially on the clean lines and shading. It is truly a piece of art. All of these artists are incredibly talented and I plan to go back when I add on to my sleeve. Definitely check the shop out! You wont regret it.

Ok so I have many tattoos and have been tattooed at 5 different central Florida shops this year and let me say, Aaron Murray at Rise Above gave me the cleanest, best looking tattoo I have by far. It seems like all the artists in this shop are incredible and the pricing is fair and atmosphere is relaxed and professional. You can get a sweet tattoo many places but if you want a A+ quality traditional piece go here.
