Im usually not one to write reviews but I felt like I needed to share! I wont mention the stylists name because I liked her but I had a terrible experience there last week. I have naturally curly hair and for those of you who do also, you know what a treat it is to get your hair done and styled every once in a while. After my wash she took me back to the chair and even though I didnt want a trim or cut, she didnt ask me if I wanted a trim. Then she started blow drying my hair and explained to me that she learned this new technique and started doing it. It did NOT look good and I could tell that she knew it didnt look good either. It was tangled and a frizzy mess. She didnt ask me how I wanted my hair styled and was simply trying to rush me out the door because her next client was there. She has done my hair before and knows how long my appointments take. I left with my hair still wet and this was the second time I have left that salon with wet hair! It looked terrible. I had big plans that night and the following day and almost felt like crying because I felt ugly leaving the salon. I had to go home and do my hair myself. I called the salon back and asked the receptionist if it cost extra to style hair at their salon or if I needed to ask the stylists to style it. She assured me that styling is complimentary with your appointment and did not cost any extra money. She then realized I was the one who just left with wet hair and tried to cover for the stylist by saying that the salon just assumed that clients with curly hair want their hair styled curly. I was pretty upset to say the least! And it was VERY expensive!!! I didnt even get a cut! In the end the color turned out good but from my experiences so far I will probably never go back to Ella Bloom again.

Great salon and Boutique. Blakely, has done my hair many times and it has always turned out fantastic. The first time I went to Ella bloom was in 2012 when I needed a color correction and a cut fixed. The previous stylist I had at another salon did a terrible job. I have extremely thick and long hair. Many hair stylists get tired after doing it for hours. Which was the case with another salon. I found this salon and told my stylist (Blakely) the issue. She evened out the layers, fixed the choppy side bangs and gave my hair a gorgeous color that I had originally wanted. I went to her for cuts, styles and color around 10 times before I moved to Wisconsin in 2014. She is fantastic. I wish I visited Utah long enough to have her do my hair again. The salon is also a very nice and relaxing atmosphere. All staff are very friendly and the little boutique has fantastic clothing and accessories. Definitely recommend for hair, unique & beautiful clothes and a relaxing time.

Ella Bloom Salo, Spa and Boutique has been a great luxury of mine to have for over the past year. I have had a wonderful time working with Brittanee, who truly is an amazing hair stylist. As opposed to many of whom I have received haircuts from in the past, Brittanee definitely takes the time and the energy to hear out her clients needs and will do everything, and I mean everything, in her power to achieve the look and feel to their hair, so they can walk away transformed into the person that wanted to be going into the salon that day. She is a blast to talk to and a hard worker. And, for all the guys out there, if you want a good rinse during your cut, the best rinse Ive ever gotten was from her, which for me goes a LONG way. Overall, if you have the time and want a great cut, go to or call Ella Bloom, get an appointment with one of their stylists, and if youre lucky enough, get one with Brittanee and try her out. I promise you will not be disappointed.

As a bearded brother of the less-fairer sex, this doesnt seem like the kind of place youd go for a beard trim. But fear not, among the cute clutches, and bourgeoning blouses work talented women that actually know how to whip that face mop into shape. They dont treat your chin fur like standard head hair either, they realize it takes a delicate touch, a different touch, to make those wiry locks look wonderful. But seriously, I looked down right respectable when I walked out of here. And not too expensive either.

Ella Bloom is a hidden gem! Im so glad I know about it. I went to a bunch of "high end" salons before, and they totally fried my hair. I have been going to Jamie for hair for over 4 years now. I used to think that my hair just didnt grow past a certain point. Now my hair is healthier and longer than ever and I dont trust anyone else with it! I actually live in California right now, and I still schedule my hair with her for when Im back in town. Definitely would recommend!

I enjoy going to Ella Bloom to get my hair done- but the primary reason is because of my amazing stylist, Brittany Muntzing. She is talented, professional, and efficient. When Ive gone to other stylists they take twice as long to do what Brittany does, and her work always looks better. I tell everyone I know to go to Ella Bloom, especially to Brittany. Hands down one of the most talented and reasonably priced stylists in Utah County.

EB is a hidden little gem. My wife and I love the atmosphere, the boutique has adorable clothes for my wife and kids and the spa offers an experience no other salon / day spa does in this area. Give it a try! The Salon owner, Jamie, is professional and highly knowledgable and always learning new techniques to bring to the salon to keep them cutting edge.

Great salon, I am really comfortable going in and getting my hair cut. My favorite part is the head massage. Since going there, my wife has loved all her christmas and birthday presents from the boutique next door. The stylists have been great to help me pick things out for her. I would recommend this salon to any guy or girl around.

I am giving this Salon one star simply because thats the lowest option it will allow me to add, although quite frankly, one star is being wayyy too generous. BEWARE! Inexperienced colorists. Rude confrontational staff. So unprofessional and disrespectful. Protect your hair! Stay far far away from this "Salon"!!

I see Brittany Muntzing for hair and Kinsey for wax. I think that they are both pro at their jobs. Very professional and competent. The salon itself is nice with a clothing boutique attached. The only negative is the parking lot can fill up. Small gripe. I love it there.

This is such a wonderful salon, all of the stylist are so talented, kind and great to work with. The boutique is so cute too. I can hardly leave without picking up somthing to enhance my wardrobe! Ali Dastrup is my stylist and esthetician and she does such an amazing job.
