Its amazing how fast lazy employees like Ashley can make you dislike a certain location, particularly a location that, until today, was my favorite. I wanted a certain blend of coffee (Sumatran) that was not on display and asked the guy at the register about it first. I got the standard "if you dont see it, we dont have it" routine, so I went to ask someone else; in this case, it was Ashley. She sounded extremely put-out to begin with, and downright annoyed when I asked her if she would mind looking in the back. "Okay, but theres a lot of coffee back there, so its going to take me a while.", she replied. Less than THIRTY seconds later (no kidding), she returns to inform me that she had "looked everywhere", but couldnt find any. First, I would like to apologize to Ashley for MAKING HER DO HER JOB...not. Second, the service here is usually great (801 University, Lubbock, Texas). Not that it matters, though, because Ill be getting my caffeine-fix ANYWHERE else from now on. If Ashley is the future of Starbucks, Im selling my SBUX stock immediately. Sorry, Howard.

I come here a lot during work breaks, usually they have stellar service and their food and coffee is on point. Im not sure if theyre training a new barista or whatever, but she did not know how to make a skinny caramel macchiato. Im not a picky person either, but Im trying to watch my calories. She called out a vanilla latte with my name, and I told her it was supposed to be a skinny mach, and she just grabbed the caramel and put some on top and gave it back to me. Seriously? I told her thats not the same thing, and she said "well thats how we make them." I tried to be ok with it but it tasted disgusting so I asked her if she could please make a new one. She did. It was the same thing. $5 bucks straight into the trash.

Dark Knight

The staff here are so nice and helpful! I wanted a drink that they didnt have but they helped me choose another drink I can try. The guy I spoke to was so friendly, I wish I knew his name. He is an African American gentleman. There were two African American gentlemen taking orders and I have to say they have great customer service skills. These are the people you want to have working in any public service job. The drink I bought tasted great as well. The only reason I dont go here much is the parking but every now and I go because of the atmosphere and I feel like they make the best drinks.

I went in early this morning and mr shawn was so rude. He gave me the uglyist look and didnt even greet me but greeted everyone else in front of me. I paid with my phone and I was having problems with scanning it and he just looked like he was bothered by me. Thanks for the great customer service. But everyone else was so nice and fast with my order. Ive never had an experience like that before at a Starbucks. Everyone is usually so sweet and really welcoming.

Two stars are for the customer service - the cashier was very polite and friendly as were the barista preparing the drinks. The three stars deducted are for the state of restaurant. There were flies everywhere, the majority of the table were covered in crumbs and spilled oatmeal, looking like they hadnt been wiped off in several days. I visited at 8 in the morning too, so I can only imagine how gross it must get as the day progresses.

I dont normally go to Starbucks but some friends wanted to meet here. I ordered my daughter a tall half decaf half almond milk with vanilla (she wanted a vanilla coffee). And the guy that made it did an AWESOME job. I am so sad I did not get his name. He steamed the milk and it wasnt too hot for her. I seriously just expected them to pour the coffee add some milk and stir in some vanilla. The extra touch really made it special for her.

This is the closest Starbucks to Campus so its usually packed with studiers. This is both good and bad. Conveniently every table is near an outlet so it is very laptop friendly. But its proximity to campus makes it a popular spot, so around midterms and finals it can get busy. Fortunately, they are consistently open until midnight when Tech is in session, so if youre looking for a study destination, try here first!

Two people there were just plain rude for no reason the one that started our order was being a dick to the other employee which i guess made him mad and he got on the register and I told him we arent finished with our order and he replied in a rude yelling way about the name for our order ig he had a stick up his ass or something but I wont be going there again

Crappy Customer Service! I work next to this Starbucks so I go there quite often and everytime I get stuck with the snooty blonde girl that obviously hates her life. Shes rude and very snappy with the customers. She made my drink, slammed it down on the counter and threw a straw down next to it with no more than a annoyed look in a face. She should be fired.

Service is great and the drinks are as good as anywhere. However, parking is terrible. Hard to get in and out of the lot and its usually full. Then, there is nowhere near enough space inside. Very crowded and never anywhere to especially if its cold out and no one can sit outside.

I take my car there and although it has never happened, if I got towed I would need to have my receipt to prove that Im a customer here and the cashier never gives me a receipt. otherwise, a Good place to get coffee. I was able to plan my day there. People are nice as well.

I love this place! Its a great place to be. The staff has always been friendly and kind to me. When I was a college student I used to study there all the time and it was always a good place for me to get work done. Isaac, Bethany, and Maureen are the best baristas (2016)!

My favorite part of cold brew is mixing in the cream with my straw. Super sad mine was already mixed when they handed it to me. Ive worked at Starbucks in WA and made the drinks according to the recipes. This location is very nice though, almost reminds of home.

There are flies everywhere, there are at least 5 around my table that is so annoying also there are some on the cakes and sandwiches on the window display!!!! But love the location, and staff are so nice, I hope they can fix this flies problem.

Manager was standing in line to meet the new barista while Im waiting to order (I thought it was odd) and No music in the store!! I didnt get that sit and stay awhile feeing while I was there.

BEST STAFF EVER! They have amazing and kind workers here! Kat was excellent in balancing out her customers without having frustration and on top of that, being alone. I do recommend.

a little slow.. cashier grumpy and didnt seem to give a crap about working there.. orders havent been messed up yet, place is clean. everyone else Ive dealt with seems pretty cool.
