I have gone to Discount Tire for my last 2 sets of tires. The first set of tires (khumo pathfinders) were great. I had them routinely rotated and balanced, and they lasted me the quoted number of miles. When it came time to get a new set I knew exactly where to go. I ran into major problems with my second set (BFG All Terrain ko2s). My truck (2002 F-250) had major vibration issues between 70-78 mph that were not present with my previous set of tires. I went in to discount tire 3 days after my original purchase and bought the certificate for replacement bc I knew there was something wrong with my tires, and I did not want to have to deal with BF Goodrich for a warranty. (BF Goodrich is notorious for finding any reason to not replace their defective tires). I spoke with Mickey and he was gracious enough to sell me their warranty (he was not obligated to do so seeing as I had declined to purchase the certificate upon my original purchase of the tires and they had since possibly become defective). The guys in shop had my tires balanced and ready go in less than 45 minutes. I immediately took my truck onto the interstate were I had the exact same issue. I took my truck back in and went through the exact same process and ended up with the exact same result. When I arrived back at the shop for a third time I was put in touch with David, the manager of discount tire. He immediately went out and spoke with the technicians. They had discovered that I had two out of round tires on my front end. David informed me of what was wrong (I figured the tires were out round at this point) and asked me if I would able to come back in a couple of hours to have a couple of new tires installed. While I was gone David got in touch with another store and found me two new tires for my front end. Two and a half hours later I was back on the insterate with a new set tires that no longer tried to vibrate my teeth out of my skull. It was a long day to say the least, however, Discount Tire went above and beyond to get me back on the road again. This was by no means their fault. They tried to balance the tires as best they could before eventually putting them on a road force balancer and discovering that they were out of round. Class A customer service! Couldnt recommend these guys enough. A final word of warning- Avoid bfg all terrain tires like the plauge if you have a 3/4 ton and up vehicle. These tires have a track record of causing death wobble on heavy vehicles. Sadly its too late for me to back out. Hopefully I can potentially save someone a lot of money and headaches with these unique tires.

When I first went in to Discount Tire, they informed me that my tires were very bald (which I knew) and that they were a safety hazard. The gentlemen who helped me were very kind and seemed to care very much for my safety. I ended up with 4 brand new tires at around $800 in late October. Toward the end of June, I had a flat and took it back up to Discount Tire to be repaired. I was told that the tire was too bald to be repaired. Already? I knew it was thin and said I couldnt understand why the back tires were getting thin already. The guy gave me this story about how the tires were too big for the wheel and that it creates this bowing effect that wears the center of the tire thinner. A) They put the tires on! Wouldnt they have known what size tire to put on my car? B) Why are you giving me a story? Im here for a flat. So then he asks where I got the tires. I say right here. So he looks them up to see what type of warranty coverage I have on them. I dont have any! How is that possible, I ask. He says, on the 22s (which I did not pick, the car came that way to us) you have to REQUEST it. A) They sold me the tires! Give me the opportunity to decline such coverage by killing me with the price. But dont just let me go away assuming I have some type of coverage, because hey, dont all tires? B) They sold me the tires! I know, I already said that. But, it really galls that they sold me the tires and then basically left me high and dry, especially after paying a little over $800 for the tires. They did not check to see if my suspension was going out, nor did they check to see if I had an alignment issue, both of which could cause the wearing of my two rear tires. Instead they terrified me into buying 4 new tires, little-womaned me about repair, and made up some story they thought would cover themselves. They are all polite, very friendly, even helpful. But dont let the name fool you. My experience cost me all the way around.

Needed 2 tires to replace 2 yr old tires (36, 0000 miles) on the front of a 2015 Kia Soul. Requested that the new tires go on front and for the rear tires to be rotated. They put the new tires on the rear. When I told my husband (who is mechanically inclined and has driven professionally for 18+ years) he was NOT happy and had me go back to have them fix it. Took it back. Asked them to fix it. The employee argued with me (more than once) and tried to show me internet articles justifying why they did not do what we had originally requested. This is in front of a store full of people. I did not appreciate how rude he was. They finally did what we asked but they were so ugly about it; Iwill not use them again.

Employees were a bit young but made up for the concern by being super-fast, seemingly responsible, and earnest workers. I have never seen such hustle. Sales staff were very personable and had full authority to be good salesmen (price, warranty, etc). Shop/facilities were clean. This is by far the best tire shop I have ever been to. I have not been to another Discount Tire but I doubt they will be able to beat the experience. I have been to at least 15 different tire shops all over the U.S. and they fall noticeably short.

We were on our way to dinner when we decided to pick up a nice sized nail in our tire. The staff at Discount Tire made the entire ordeal a non-issue. I now know what Nascar drivers feel like during a pit stop - they were rolling the tire away before I had made it inside the building. They had the puncture repaired and had us back on the road in less than 10 minutes. Amazing service and friendly employees at this location. I would recommend them to anyone.

On the road from Nevada our Jeep picked up a nail in the side wall. Shaun met me at the door and took charge of tire problem. This particular store didnt have the exact tire we needed. Cooper 255 75 R17. We replaced it with a Goodyear same size to get us home and use the Goodyear as a spare later. Warranty took off half the price. Shaun had us on the road within an hour. Thanks for the great service.
