Went to the book store and grabbed a few DH Lawrence books and short stories, a few Dickens works and One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest for a steal. Unfortunately I didnt look like the rest of the older customers who were greeted very warmly upon their entrance while I with my tattoos and scruffy facial hair had backs turned to me. Also every customer was met at the counter while my wife and daughter and I had to wait patiently. Good deal, bad attitudes. Ill take my business elsewhere. Thanks for the deal on the books though. Also I dont see how working at a book store (since 2000 as I heard boasted) warrants such elitism. I dont expect a red carpet but equal service would be nice. Could only imagine how others who look more different if you catch my drift are "handled". The other stores however were filled with great employees who engaged every customer as an equal. Suggestion: Stock up heavily on some Emily Post books. EDIT: Thanks for a response. Thanks for at least attempting to retrain those people, maybe remind them that theyre no better than anyone else and that there are plenty of people who need work. And no thanks, I wont be back. Why would I subject myself to such brutes. Also, it could give me another opportunity to call you guys out, right? Best of luck, not only in business but in life. Thats just no way to treat others.

One of the greatest things that Souderton has to offer is Care and Share Thrift Shoppes. I love everything about Care & Share: the layout (multiple types of shops in a strip mall) the selection (I always find something I like/find interesting) the location (on Rt 113, just off Rt 309) and (of course) the mission (benefiting the low-income families in our area!) Ive read other reviews complaining about the pricing, so Id like to dedicate a few lines to addressing that. First, every week they have a "half-off" color, so one could ALWAYS find something at a good price (and they sometimes even have a "75% off" color. Killer deal.) Secondly, they do what other thrift stores wont or cant do: they sift through the detritus, selecting only what will sell, and put it on the shelves at a fair price. Theres nothing worse than going to a thrift store looking for something decent only to find the shelf space filled with old, ragged shoes and "Titanic" VHS tapes. In a nutshell, they do the digging for you! And for that, I am grateful. So, THANK YOU, Care and Share. You never disappoint.

Hello. first off I want to say I do like this store the prices are half decent especially the Friday half off sale but unlike other thrift stores the store doesnt go out of their way to find merchandise they only go on solely what people give them and thats it. They dont "shop around" for things at ,clothing buy-outs,or auctions. The thing of it is youre not always going to find everything that you need at this store as most of it is by donation only and that can be a problem because youll be wasting your time actually going there if youre looking for a specific item(s) so Id suggest that you call first if your looking for a specific item that you need because the selection isnt always the best. However, the good thing that I like is these are the friendliest people youll ever meet and their prices are so good(although most is final sale and cannot be returned). The clothing most of it is in good shape it is kept well organized, nice and clean....

i have 1 major complaint with care and share and its there pricing alot of the time they mark items at absurdly high prices because they give back to the community and im all for donating and giving back but i look at items and sometimes there over or at retail pricing and i just dont find that to be honorable its a rip off they exhibit signs of greed on many levels in my opinion and could make so many more sales if the prices were decent what really erked me and made me write this review is there recent price changes to the value thrift store where they basicly have all the stuff that they were not able to sell in the other "high end thrift shops" they essentially TRIPLED there prices and on the website it stated this was better to serve the customer i see it as a disservice personally its a shame there are no other thrift stores locally that have similar items otherwise i would not be a customer

I have a growing collection of all different types of beer glasses and steins, and frequent new thrift stores that I come across in order to add to my accumulation. I can understand placing items on shelves without washing them or checking them over, because of the total amount of inventory in the store. Of my purchases, one was filled with ash, the other had a dead bug in it, but whatever. Placing the price tag directly over scratches and nicks in the glass to make them unseen is a different issue, especially when there is a no return policy. I buy certain glassware for display purposes, and ones with imperfections are useless to me. A store that intentionally covers up damages on merchandise is deceitful to its customers.

First time going a few weeks ago and i loved it. The prices are alright and the quality of the merchandise is good and there is a varied selection. The first and i think cheapest store was having its roof patched so the smell in the store was awful and a little off putting so i didnt spend much time in there. A few people in the reviews complained about high prices but i think they were pretty reasonable for the quality of the stuff. Ive seen many other thrift stores that were way higher with items that were broken and junk quality. I like the layout of the stores and how you can go from one to the other right down the line. Next time im going without my kids so i can spend more time looking.

I have been shopping at Care and Share thrift shops for over 25 years. I have literally furnished my home largely with items from Care and Share. They are a household word in our family. Literally every area of my home is furnished and supplied in some measure by Care and Share. From paperclips and stationery, to kitchen and housewares, Hardware and tools, to furniture and toys, to clothing and shoes for our family, bargains from Care and Share have literally made the difference in our standard of living. We LOVE Care and Share in our house!!!

Perhaps the largest thrift store I’ve ever visited. It’s most of a small shopping center, with different stores having different item focus. The northernmost store is furniture and appliances. Middle is clothing, followed by books and media, then variety. The last store, “Thrift Outlet”, is not for the faint of heart. Items there are sold by weight. This location and others with the same brand benefit the work of the Mennonite Central Committee, an umbrella organization of the largest Anabaptist Christian denomination in the United States.

I love going here to look for sweet finds. I live about an hour away but will make the drive just for the stores sometimes. I enjoy how many there are and ever-changing inventory. The only thing that saddens me is that the hours end so soon in the day. I once drove up and arrived just as everything closed down, yes my fault for not looking the hours up, but most things tend to be open later in the day. Either way, thanks for being around, and thanks for the affordable prices and good finds.
