This past year I was a caregiver to my uncle. My uncle had no children, and therefor he treated me like his daughter. My uncle was my rock and my everything. When we found out he had cancer and there was no treatment, I knew I had to make one of his wishes come true. He dreamed of my wedding day. He even told my cousin he could not spend much on her dress because he had to save for my special day. I am not engaged, but I knew in my heart I needed to go wedding dress shopping with him. I heard from my mentor about La Jeune Mariee Bridal Collection and she said it would be the best spot for me to go. She let me know that this place was a calm relaxing place. Not crazy packed inside. I knew that my uncle could not be around a lot of people because of his mood swings with the cancer. When I called La Jeune Mariee Bridal collection, I was a little nervous. With me not being married, I thought they would say I was unable to go there because I was just going to try on dresses. I was not planning on buying a dress because I am not engaged. I just wanted my uncle to have the experience of dress shopping with me. Caitlynn an employee there picked up the phone that day and she agreed to do the dress fitting. Caitlynn is by far one of the most amazing people. She was the one who held the dress fitting. She made my family/friends feel so comfortable. She treated the event like I was engaged. She even listened to my uncle and let me try on dresses he liked. One of the dresses I tried on made me cry because I felt so special and my uncle loved it. I was not planning on buying it but with how well Caitlynn treated us, I knew I had to get the dress. On my wedding day I will feel my uncle Glenn wrapped around me. Yesterday I had a meet the dress appointment. My uncle has since passed, and he was unable to be there to meet the dress. Caitlynn once again stayed for me to try on the dress with my friends. It was such an emotional day, and words can’t express how Caitlynn and the staff were to me. They made me feel so special, and I could feel my uncle presence there. La Jeune Mariee and Caitlynn are truly amazing. I believe it was Gods calling for me to go there. What I love is this place didn’t know I was going to buy a dress. They all were there to just make a wish come true for me and my uncle. They made that wish come true, and I even was able to buy a dress from them. Maybe my man now will ask the question! Ladies who are engaged you need to go there. They will make you feel so special like you deserve. They will make your dreams come true.

$$$$$ 1000.00 to hem a dress? We had an appointment with La Jeune Marie on 12/23/15, last appointment of the day. My daughter came in from Chicago to support local business. I had called weeks before our appointment gave design choices and her desires for the way she wanted her dress to look & fit. The dresses pulled were not the ones we had agreed to show her. After 45 min of trying on dresses she did not care for, the shop assistant was banging around trying to close the shop on us as we were trying on dresses. Out of desperation I asked we try on a display gown. The clerk grabbed it off the form visibly irritated not only to me but my daughter who was now rushing to find a gown. My daughter was delighted because it was the kind of dress she wanted and we got one very similar saving the appointment from disaster before they shut the store on us. NOW the snag is they said they had no in house seamstress and gave us 3 names for alterations. ARE YOU AWARE TO HEM A BEADED GOWN CAN COST UP TO 1000.00? The clerk said shortening the dress would be easy.... piece of cake. Also we received no help in getting a veil that night since they were pushing us out the door. Later after my dress defect fiasco it was offered to help my daughter out with a veil. They missed the opportunity to do so when she called the store asking for help last week, it was not offered and she was forced to buy a veil in Chicago & have her alterations in Chicago as well. Every thing about helping was false and they bugged my daughter by e-mail asking us not to share our experience.

I cannot say enough about La Jeune Mariee and the wonderful girls that work there! Brooke was the amazing bridal consultant I had the pleasure of working with to find my dream dress! La Jeune Mariee was the first bridal shop I had been to and they definitely set the bar high. First, we told her our budget, which she did an amazing job of staying under. She did not suggest any dresses over budget for me to try on, which was very comforting. I went to a couple other bridal salons and nothing else even compared to the experience I had at La Jeune Mariee. Brooke picked out dresses based on what I told her I was looking for. The other salons I went to had me pick dresses out, which I did not like. It is so hard to look at a wedding dress on a hanger and know what it will look like on. Brooke did a fabulous job of catering to my descriptions of what I was looking for. After not having an experience anywhere near La Jeune Mariee, I knew I had to go back and get my dress. Also, Brooke and the other girls were so helpful with other wedding planning questions I had. If it werent for them I probably wouldnt have found the Church that my fiance and I are going to get married in. I am so thankful for everything they did to help me! Their customer service was beyond our expectations. I will be recommending them to all of my friends in the future!!

Ive gone from shop to shop for the past 2 years looking for a gown that made me feel like ME. I spotted this shop online by accident and drove the 2 hours there b/c the website really inspired me. The owner was a true sweetheart and really new her stuff. She new exactly how I felt, what I really wanted (even though I wasnt sure when I got there) and made the experience actually memorable. The atmosphere was unlike any other shop Id been to. It was trendy and beautiful, but relaxed. It took me maybe 45 minutes to know exactly what I wanted and I left happy and confident in my decision. I CANT WAIT TO PICK IT UP! ...UPDATE!..My dress is in and Im so excited! Ive read the 2 reviews on poor service and wanted to comment: not only has Kristin been super nice in keeping me up-to-date, but I just called her to change my appointment from Saturday to Sunday. Theyre not open on Sunday, but b/c Im from out of town, she is planning around her own familys schedule, to accommodate mine. I should also mention that my dress was certainly was not the priciest one in the store. She was sweet and helpful and I continue to recommend them to anyone!
