Our party of 9 visited the Corydon, IN location tonight at 8:15 pm. Upon arriving, we had an approximate 15 minute wait. No big deal. What was a big deal was being told after we were seated that they were out of the chicken & rice which was the Saturday special. In addition, they were out of meatloaf & chicken & dumplings! To top it off, we were advised drinks would be a bit longer because there were no clean cups. After asking for to go cups (because we were concerned the dirty cups would be washed hastily), we still sat another 10 minutes with no drinks. Our party ended up leaving . Poor management!! All of this information should have been disclosed BEFORE your wait to be seated...like when we put our name in at the hostess stand. This is the third visit where weve been told that theyre "out" of food, well before closing times.

Waitress was very attentive. We went later in the evening, like around 7:30. Got right in to a table but had to wait forever for barely warm food. There were only two of us so they werent waiting to get several meals ready, which is sometimes the case when my whole family gets together at a restaurant. I had the Sunday chicken special. The chicken breasts were small, like one that had been cut in half. The hashbrown casserole was way salty. Carrots were good. Biscuits were not even warm enough to melt butter. Should not have had to wait 45 minutes for that. So A+ for service but C for food.

The hostess here needs a different job, perhaps somewhere in the back, not around people. I went in during the early daytime during the week. She was younger probably mid-lates 20s or so. A waitress came out to take my togo order, and was very kind, however the hostess/manager whatever she was, was very rude to the girl in front of me. Power trip much anyone? You work at cracker barrel sweety, calm down, lol. She made it obvious when I came that she was above taking a quick to go order or something, had me wait at the front while she went to fetch a waitress.... wow.

They did not fire Brads wife. It was a corporate decision. Bradley Reid Byrd Good morning.I still have not heard from "said" company. I would like everyone to remember that some very good people work for them. The people at the Corydon location are our friends (like family) and are just trying to make a living. So if you want answers, please direct questions to the home office. They are the ones who fired my wife. Thanks to all for the continued support and I will keep you informed....

Very slow to seat even though there were plenty of available tables. Out of two entree orders and a burger came with cheese even though it was ordered without. A replacement burger wasnt brought until everyone was finished eating. Even the sides were over cooked & had been reheated too often. The A.C. was definitely working because everyone was complaining of the extreme cold. When mentioned to the server, she said that she would tell the manager, nothing was done about it.

Most often we have no complaints, however this visit I was very disappointed with the serving size of my meal. I ordered the vegetable plate (4 veggies) and it came with 4 very small portions squeezed on to a small round dinner plate. My friend also ordered the veggie plate and she had 3 nice sized servings on the same size dinner plate and her 4th veggie in a side bowl. I left less than satisfied. Seriously lacked consistency.

No one deserves a 5 star rating when they discriminate against their employees. This company has a history of discrimination dating back to 1991. They fire an employee for helping someone in need? They fire an employee after 11 years of service, with no justification? And the food quality isnt "home made" . Maybe if you change your morals. things will improve. but since this has gone on for so long chances are you wont.

horrible. you guys used to be really great, my server was Nanette and she was amazing. I will be contacting anyone and everyone I know, so you horrible people make up for firing Nanette a.k.a Brads Wife. Her service was amazing. I just hope she has found a job somewhere else that actually appreciates what she does. Wont be eating at yalls store anymore.

This establishment proves that its no longer a good old god fearing freedom loving USA patriotic southern goodness place because they fired Brads Wife. Is loyalty nothing anymore!? I mean it was 11 years of service. Shame on you guys. This Cracker Barrel might advance well be an ISIS meeting spot. On a side note, you guys have great biscuits.

Having been to this Cracker Barrel several times, Im disappointed in seeing how it has been going down hill. Service has gotten bad. Food has gotten worse. Portion size has been decreasing at every CB while prices go up. Im sure that is corporate. However, that doesnt excuse those small portions being overcooked, old, and dried out.

If I could give it no star or 1/2 star I would. Food and service were fine but I went to the ladies room after and there was a man in there. Was told the mens room was out of order. Why not guard the door or at least post a sign? Im 72 years old and never had to deal with this before. Probably will never go back there again.

I have been there several times. It seems like they have high turn over with waitresses. They dont seem very experienced. I would say 50% of our orders have been wrong. But what is really unfortunate is that the meals I am used to getting at other cracker barrels - dont even taste the same at the Corydon restaurant.

Sorry excuse for a corporation! Fires their dedicated older, long-time employees after 11 years of service siting "not working out" as a reason for termination? Brad should hire an attorney and she these greedy scumbags for unlawful termination and age discrimination! Do not support this terrible restaurant!!!

Great good, fun atmosphere. Our waitress didnt seem new, though she didnt seem knowledgeable either. We had to continuously all for refills for our group and the sides to our meal. Gift shop is cute and fun, and surprisingly reasonably priced. Would have rated 5 stars had we had a better waitress.

I have been at Cracker Barrel before, several years ago and it was much better than the food was here. I ordered Rib Eye and it was hammered. Over-tenderized which led to meat being dry and then over-seasoned. Meat was so salty couldnt finish it. Took a good cut of meat and ruined it.

The food is always great, and the service is fantastic. In particular, the waitress named Brads wife is excellent, shes very friendly and always knows the best dishes to recommend. I honestly dont know if I would feel the same about food if she would ever happen to stop working here.
