Ive been shopping here twice a week for over 10 years. This Publix is smaller than a typical supermarket, but tends to have most items I am looking for. Prices are slightly higher than the lowest priced store in the area, but the chain is employee-owned. Ive never encountered at this Publix the disgust and anger exhibited by employees at the lower priced store. The employees dont smother you with false enthusiasm, but tend to treat you like a fellow human being. I get recognized there and treated like a friend. In fact, Ive gone here more than once to be cheered up after a depressing day; I was honestly in a much better mood when I left this store. The wait to be helped at every department is fairly quick. The Pharmacy, however, is nearly always very busy, so expect to wait. The sandwich counter has slow employees and/or a very long line, so expect to wait or just pick up a pre-made sandwich. The salad bar items are fresh, but options just arent appealing to me. The pharmacists are truly fantastic. Checkout is usually quick and only seems to take a long time when they get suddenly flooded by customers, usually around 5-7PM. Never been robbed here, never noticed anyone else was, either. There is NEVER anything visible in my car, though. Great parking and accessibility. Everyone I know in the area shops here and seems quite satisfied overall.

Go here if you feel like being robbed. And I dont mean high prices. I mean larceny. Read on... Wasnt long ago that I parked here to shop, left the store to after checking out only to find that my car was broken into, and over $3k worth of lost belongings (including a laptop). The useless fat store cop took my information, explaining with confidence that it wasnt going to be recovered despite filing the report. Thanks for not doing your job. Additionally, Ive never seen a cop patrol the lot. There not there for the customers, theyre paid by our tax dollars to provide loss prevention for the store. Defying all logic, I went back to the store less than a week later, step out of my car into ANOTHER puddle of broken glass -- not mine, but another victims car was broken into. How many robberies need to take place here before they actually do their job? Like I said. Go here if you want to get robbed.

Bad experience here. I come in to get some quinoa pasta. I couldnt find it. I ask a guy in the aisle he looks comes back and says no we dont have that. Disappointed I go to check out and the register girl is nice enough to ask if I found everything ok. I say no I couldnt find quinoa pasta. She said "Oh Im sure we have that." She gets the SAME guy to check AGAIN. He leaves, I know he isnt going to find it and I stay in line continuing checkout. He comes back and says he found it and to follow him. I lose my place in line and go follow him. He directs me to an aisle and says "Here." And walks away. I ask him where is it? He says somewhere on this aisle. So I try to look again and it is no where to be found. And he is no where to be found. So I go back to checkout where I have to wait in line again because I lost my place. Never going here again.

Snapped at when I try to ask a question, contempt at checkout, hot foods (tasty as rubber) bagged with cold thoughtlessly, cigarettes $7 more expensive than at QT 3 blocks away (where I was treated with courtesy, even though they were very busy), endless waits at their deli making it useless to go there - guess I,ll have to drive 8 miles back to midtown if I want to shop Publix. There, I am always treated as a valued patron. Quality at Shamrock: insulting. I am David Penly and I stand by this review. Oh...I forgot: the "cold" beer is always warm. What cheapos

since publix doesnt say theres a limit on the amount of competitor coupons they accept i usually come in with 3 or 4. every other publix accepting them? no problem. but what about this publix you say? apparently they accept whatever they feel at the time and told me that they only do 1 per transaction. no problem, ill split my order in multiple transactions. still couldnt be done... its not how it goes they say. so if your coming into this publix with multiple competitors coupons prepare to be denied!

This Publix could benefit from a little bit of an upgrade but its relatively easy to find a place to park, the food is fresh, and the staff are friendly. Cant really ask for too much more. I really enjoy the Publix deli section, bakery, and that they usually have several lines open to checkout. Overall, one of my favorite brands of grocery stores to shop in.
