Save-a-lot seems to suffer from some of the same issues that other stores with limited budgets from the higher ups suffer. There isnt enough employees a lot of times to cover the busy lines and the maintenance and up keep is suffering I suspect to keep within a tight budget . That being said, 9 times out of 10 there isnt a long line when I go there and I am usually right out the door. The prices are cheap on a lot of items that I eat and comparable to other places on some items. The employees have always been very friendly and helpful. I dont mind packaging my own groceries but, it can be a bit frustrating if I forget my bags at home.

Horrible store... Smells like rotting meat and produce. Flies in your face when you get close to the produce bins. Cashiers are very rude and they never open extra lines no matter how many people are waiting. Prices are not that great. Unless you have the weekly add and see something you want stay away. Cant recommend Save-A-Lot at all.

Poor customer service. They never help all customers. They solve everything by saying sorry and stead of actually solving the problem. Wic items are never found a very disorganized store. Will definitely lose me off today as a customer.
