Their shop is extremely VISUALLY APPEALING, GREAT ATMOSPHERE, FRESH MUSIC, VERY CLEAN, and you can tell the artists there really enjoy what theyre doing. I have gotten tattoos from both Scott and Vince. Both who I really enjoyed working with. I love how the shop helped me figured out which artist would be best suited for my specific tattoo. I had to schedule Vince out a couple weeks in advance because my tattoo involved black and gray realism and he TRULY DELIVERED! During the course of that time we emailed back and forth on what I wanted to see done, and what he thought would be most visually appealing as a tattoo. He even worked late past shop hours to get er done :P I see myself continuing to work with Vince because this was the first black and gray tattoo I had gotten and now I just want more to round my piece off seeing what can actually be done, the DEPTH and ATTENTION TO DETAIL is amazing. All in all I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop and they are WORTH THE EXTRA DOLLAR compared to other shops. Your tattoo will be on you for the rest of your life, might as well do it right the first time. I hope to get many other tattoos done from this shop. I wish this review allowed me to post a photo so you can see what I actually got, because I am that STOAKED about it. AWESOME!

I went to Oddity for my first tattoo and everything about this place deserves 6 stars! They were so helpful, I called and got their email address and via email and phone Mel helped me create a mod up. I came up with an idea and basic out line and they put it together and it turned out to be exactly what I wanted! The tattoo looks great and is healing very well, I could not be happier with it! Matt did my tattoo and did a great job! He made me feel very comfortable during the whole experience. I also very much appreciate how clean he was with his work area. As i filled out my paper work everything was wiped down and cleaned. Handles were wiped, and rewrapped in plastic. Very very clean. Oddity tattoo is amazing! I will be coming back and seeing Matt for the rest of my ink and so will my friends. :) -D

I really, really enjoyed the experience I had being tattooed here. Id never been tattooed before, and my tattoo isnt that small; about the size of a mans palm. Matt Helmer was incredibly communicative with me before my appointment because I live in another state, and was visiting; he sent me several sketches and then we reviewed a finalized one before we began. This was my first tattoo, so I have no comparison, but it was really a pleasant experience overall; everyone was very friendly and answered my questions, and despite the post-tattoo high (endorphins, let me tell you) they made sure I had what I needed going forward to care for it. The tattoo is now about six weeks old, and its beautiful; fully healed and absolutely gorgeous. I will absolutely be going back the next time Im in Florida.

I was pretty picky when it came to choosing a tattoo parlor because this was going to be my first and probably only tattoo. My sisters and I wanted matching tattoos and one sister had already been here and highly recommended we go back. I love that the artists are all talented painters and true artists. Everyone there is creative and impressive with their abilities. Our artist was Jesse and his script work is superb. He was very thorough with cleaning before and after each of us. Our tattoos match beautifully and I loved my placement. He worked well with me since this was my first tattoo (and Im crazy and put it on my ribs). He was super nice and was very helpful with caring for our tattoos. It ended up being a really fun day and I would recommend Oddity to anyone looking for a great tattoo!

This place is unlike any tattoo studio I have ever been in. It is more of an art studio that typical tattoo studio. No cookie cutter tattoos here. Everything is custom. They work with you on the conceptual ideas of your tattoo and the handraw the art work before making a transfer. My tattoo was done by Scott Oliver. Great artist, funny guy and he did an awesome job. Easly the best looking tattoo I have. Im flying back down to Sarasota in a few months to have my ultimate tattoo done. If you are going to get a tattoo and live anywhere near by, why done treat yourself to the best looking tattoo you can get. After all it is with you for life, so you better love it! Oddity makes that possible! Thanks Scott.

I got my first tattoo about a month ago by Matt! I was really nervous and had been researching all the shops in Sarasota and Bradenton. I had heard really good things about Oddity so I thought id give it a shot. I just walked in without an appointment and it wasnt a problem! I had multiple pictures of what I sort of wanted but I couldnt find one that completely matched the idea in my head. In about 45 minutes I had a drawn up sketch of EXACTLY what I was picturing. Service was great and quality is amazing. I am in love with my tattoo and I will definitely be back!

Geez man...what a ride.About half way through my 6 hour visit, Will says" Ya gettin tired ?" I said, "I wish I had one of those 5 hour energy deals...." Will THE MAN pulls one out of his cargo pants and says, "Here ya go..." And theres Mel bringin in coffee from next door....Did as I was told- tatts healed right up...Great art on the walls....gettin mucho comments up here in Macon, Ga. ...school girls hangin out of school bus windows and the like....Gettin the musical dream together....Be back to see ya OddityHey Will...Go Dog. My family and I were in Siesta Key over Christmas break and got two tattoos with Jesse. At first I was a bit concerned because he took a very long time to draw out the design after I was asked to send the pics the day before so that he could have them ready. After meeting Jesse and seeing his work the wait was worth it! He is a very detailed artist and gave me exactly what I wanted and with minimal discomfort. My father and I just went this weekend to get matching memorial tattoos for my grandfather. It was both of our first tattoos. We had an amazing experience at the Bee Ridge shop. Very clean, everyone in there was great. Ambo was our artist and he was awesome! Very personable, had good input on what he thought would look good on the piece, and he did a great job. He set the whole day aside for both of us and even stayed late to finish up. We couldnt be happier and I look forward to coming back and getting work done!
