I have been going to Windmill Farms regularly for several years and have watched as the quality of the produce and the service slowly declined. There have been numerous occasions in the past months when the produce I purchased molded within days of bringing it home, or when whole racks of produce were moldy in the store. More alarming is the rude cashier service. Last week I watched as a cashier treated an elderly customer extremely rudely as she tried to return a bad product. Today I was reprimanded by a cashier for trying to buy half a bunch of kale. She told me that because I removed two kale leaves from the bunch that those two leaves were now "wasted" and I should buy the whole bunch since Im "paying for it anyways." This interaction was alarming for two reasons. First, why did she have to publicly reprimand me? I didnt know I wasnt allowed to do that, shouldnt there be signage if it is really that big of a deal? Second, does this mean that Windmill Farms will throw away that kale instead of re-bunching it? So much for being eco-friendly.

A neighborhood gem, and no, its NOT overpriced (compared to other places offering similar highest-quality, Paleo / healthy food choices). If one chooses mass-produced/factory-farm food from Albertsons/Vons, then yes, Windmill might seem pricey. Grain-fed beef is NOT comparable to grass-fed. Organic produce is NOT comparable to pesticide-laden Mexican imports. Compare Windmill Farms meats or produce to a CSA or a Farmers Market - add in convenience (and the best Deli within many miles) and youve got a winner.

I want to first say, this is a great store, there is a great selection of produce and snacks to choose from that is fairly priced. I enjoy shopping here, I really do. I never had any problems with anyone or anything until one day I made a slight error on the pinpad which took me out of the transaction. I apologized, and strangely so, the cashier huffed and puffed about it then she took my card and ran it through again herself. I was like wow that was very rude, and for that reason I give this place a 3 star.

Windmill Farms is a very clean and well organized grocery store. The produce is fresh and they are constantly putting out new foods. The prices are reasonable and a lot of times the cheapest for certain foods. They have a lot of vitamins and healthy choices in addition to a little bakery section. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful, checking-out is quick and easy. Parking at this location is never a problem either!

This is a great farmers market in a convenient location just off I-8. They have wide variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, bakery and dairy products, deli, spices, beans and also vitamins and other good stuff. We have been going here for the past 6 years for fresh ingredients as we like to cook at home. Their deli serves great, healthy and delicious food. Their prices are very fair. Something you cant see in big stores.

I stop by every Monday for a sandwich at the deli and Brian makes an awesome sandwich just right! My only suggestion is to add a meatloaf sandwich... And heres a shout out to Frank. He tolerates my goofy Monday night jokes with a smirk and a slight nod of the head... Windmill Farms makes my Monday a great day. Windmill Farms is a great break from the plastic and neon alternatives. Thank you and well done.

Very good produce section, with a wide range of items. Good bakery selection as well. A wide range of milk and dairy and a great selection of cheeses. The pre made foods at the deli and butcher case are amazing. Incredible sandwiches that are inexpensive. Great salads, pre made meals, pork chops, wraps, guacamole and soups too. Oh, and a great craft beer selection too. We love the Windmill.

Awesome little grocery chain. They are sort of like a less corporate version of Sprouts. The interior of the store is a little more "industrial" that most other stores, but they have awesome produce and really great prices. Had to stop there the day before Thanksgiving for some stuffing ingredients and was super happy. Their bulk sausage meat was so good!

Fruits and vegetables looked very fresh and well displayed. Lots of healthy products, non- gluten choices, terrific salad bar, friendly customer service and clean store. I did not stay long as I had to attend an appt but plan to return. I highly recommend this smaller market that advertises locally grown products!

sweet place to go when your a student at state. They offer a discount for the first couple months of the semester for your groceries. I especially went here for their sandwiches which are nine times better than 4.0 and the cause of many debates. Try it for yourself and get a Lindsey Special.

The best produce and meats, the BEST deli and all at great prices. They beat all other grocery stores in my book! I get a GF Veggie Sandwich at least 1x/week, its my favorite! And I probably go shopping 2-3x/week for their meats and produce, its a dinner staple at our house.

I have pretty much been shopping here twice a week for years! The staff is super nice and accomodating and will order whatever you need! Their produce is fresh and with prices more than half what you would pay at Ralphs or Vons why would you go anywhere else?

Great market to shop at. Similar feel to Sprouts, but even better. $3.99-$4.99 deli sandwiches made in front of you. Great deal and delicious. Dont forget to get a buy 7 get 8th free card. Food quality is good, prices are competitive, and staff is friendly.

Since I have moved to Del Cerro, I have been going to Windmill more and more. The only complaint that I have about this place is the fact that they usually dont have a lot of checkstands open. Tommie and Melody are great!!!!
