Ive been here multiple times and unless you present yourself completely beholden to the owner for information, he WILL treat you as if you know nothing. I tried to strike up a conversation on how I store my game controllers, instead of wrapping the cord around the actual controller I bundle it. He responded with "oh, well anyone is stupid if they do it that way." I also witnessed him rudely hang up on a customer who was asking if they had a game for two systems, one was for ps2 and the other was for Xbox. He said they didnt have it for Xbox and before they could ask about Id he had it for ps2 he hung up. Ive also called before and he rudely hangs up once HE thinks the conversation is over. I asked if he took in game consoles, I was going to ask if he took ps2 and Xbox systems. Before I could even say what I had he rudely said "I cant tell you over the phone, I have to see it." Then hung up. His prices are also way too high. I asked him and he said that as long as people keep paying it he will slowly raise the prices. He gets given stuff, people dont even ask for cash in return and then he goes and sells it for way too much. For example he has Mario 64 for $90 when its only $30. He sells n64 decks, just the deck, no power, no av, no controllers for $70. Am "authentic" complete unit (original controller, av (sometimes even after market), power brick for $170 and thats before you buy a game. He claims the reason why the prices are so high is because he has to test the systems one by one. Granted he does inspect them but To charge almost $200 for something I can go accross the street to DAV and get for $50 (complete) or $80 at another place seems like a rip off. As other reviewers also say he takes advantage of our troops. He says another reason why his prices are expensive is because the Marines will pay those prices. No duh, they dont know any better and are getting ripped off.

This guy is a total dick, with no people skills and no soul. He always sounds like hes mad about living. I tried to ask for a price for an old ps1 fame and he sounded like he was mad for just talking with me. I was friendly to try and cheer him up but he wouldnt have any of that. What a jerk. Also my friend wanted to buy Final Fantasy 7 and the owner wanted 100$ for it and not willing to negotiate at all. We then went to Game Mart in East Vista Way behind the KFC in a shopping center tucked in a corner. He was selling it for 50 and willing to negotiate! Game Mart is a much better store! Far more friendly and warmer with far better prices! Was able to buy an N64 with the controller for 50$ and 7 day return policy! Please help Game Mart out! Avoid Game ADX at all this man does not deserve your hard earned money and takes advantage of the Marines! Disgusting! He even said so himself that he overpriced his games cause he knows the Marines will pay that price! Please help Game Mart and other far more deserving mom and pop stores!

I have been a loyal customer of GameAdx since the 90s. Ive NEVER gotten anything but respect and FAIR prices from them. I cant imagine him being rude, unless maybe someone was rude first? Thats not an attack on anyone, Im just really trying to rationalize all these negative reviews. Im blown away, This guy restores the games/systems before he sells them. He has EVERYTHING. And yeah, some of the games he sells are expensive because theyre rare. If you really know your stuff, youd sell for the prices he does too. Im going there today, and Ill gladly return for many years to come! At one point he even told me to buy a system elsewhere because Id get a free game and memory card that he couldnt offer. Someone who was greedy and rude wouldnt do that. Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend GameAdx.

Guy at the store is nice and knowledgeable but their prices on everything are horrendous. Want a somewhat well known game like Ocarina of Time on N64 or Super Mario 3 for the NES? Prepare to give an arm and a leg. Even no name games go for up to triple the price they should be. The prices here are a bigger scam than they are on eBay which is known for having heavily over inflated prices to begin with. I know in this day and age its hard to run a business like this but you cannot just rip your customers off to justify it. I still go in from time to time because I live nearby and I really want to give them a shot but I never walk out with a sale because it just costs too damn much there. Go to the swap meet or even eBay, even at their worst those will be a better value.

So Ive been coming to this place on and off for years. Im really shocked to see these reviews. Ive spent literally hours chatting with the owner of this shop, pausing to let him help other customers and I have NEVER seen him speak disrespectfully to anyone. What is the standard to what its being compared to anyway? I cant remember the last time I went to a game stop and was treated like an actual human being. (They just try to upsell me on stuff I didnt even come in for.) Come in here, check the selection, its really good. I havent found a place with a better selection of older games.

Dont listen to the reviews, if this guy wasnt friendly he wouldnt have made it for over 25 years on his own, I went in and spent 3 hours talking to him, hes as cool as can be, and he knows his stuff. He treats people fairly and is easy to talk to, anybody who didnt get treated fairly was probably trying to rip him off, or wasnt being nice in the first place, and even if he was rude a few times, everybody had bad days, especially given how long hes been in business, so dont listen to the reviews and give the place a shot, hes really a cool guy.

Price gauging at its finest, read all the negative reviews but thought Id se for myself. Soon as I walked in I noticed the large amount of loose games , what I also noticed was there was no pricing on anything that wasnt in the glass cases. When I asked him a price on Bomberman 2 NES he said "I have to check" which means let me check eBay. Comes back and says $239!! I was like dollars or pesos? Thats almost double what it regularly sells for on eBay. Just stay clear, his pricing is ridiculous even for Canada where Im from.

Place does a lot of good retro games but theyre expensive as hell want silent hill be prepared to spend 80 bucks , went confronted about the price, we tried to talk him down to lower it a bit but he wouldnt budge youre better off going to other stores in vista and what not , we told him why his games are so expensive and he said its because people will buy them at those prices all his games are really overpriced by like 3 times the original amount do not buy from him.
