After several back and forths with a lead customer service rep, I was finally inclined to leave a warning for other potential shoppers. Yes, JHM is competively prices and has a solid and loyal customer base. However, my personal dealings have been a frustrating and expensive disappointment. I will never purchase from this company again. Quick summary: Rebuilding 01e out of a b5 s4. Order $700 rebuild kit, and that day notice pinion gear is questionable in trans. Sent a website inquiry about obtaining a possible part replacement, and 3 days later I called to follow-up when I had no reply. Customer phone rep stated that the online form gets sorted improperly sometimes and for transmission questions I should instead email Sales and ask to be routed to Technical. Send email. No reply for another few days. Submit another online form. No reply. Email again stating it was my 4th attempt at contact. Ok...now get a brief response that they couldnt help me with a part I was inquiring about. Fast forward a week. Transmission is too risky to rebuild so I buy a pro rebuilt unit. Send email to JHM about returning BRAND NEW kit. Directed to return policy which states 20% restock fee or store credit. I disapprove, obviously. E-mails back and forth. No budge. Snarky responses, and now Im here. A. What successful business charges 20% on a new non-electrical/sensitive item within a week of ordering? B. Where is the desire to retain customers by providing prompt and courteous responses? C. Based on my personal experience, would anyone blame me for not opting for store credit as to avoid subjecting myself to the same run around in the future - especially if it was a warrantee issue?

I am so glad I found out about this place through the audizine forums. If you own a German car (specifically Audi, VW or Porsche) you owe it to yourself and your car to pay these guys a visit. Top notch service, very easy to get to (directly off Hwy 5) and last but not least, very very reasonably priced. These guys are known for building the fastest street-driven Audis and can offer you a budget friendly build to fit your driving needs/habits. Ive been here multiple times and each time I leave with the same expectation; very satisfied. Pay them a visit or give them a call! Your car will thank you! Shout out to the JHM staff, all of you have been very helpful throughout the entire process from the breakdown of the initial invoice to the Estimated time of completion. These guys are awesome. Everyone I met was very friendly. Took my A5 in because it had a nasty misfire and was spewing fuel and smoke out the exhaust. They diagnosed it quickly and I received email updates as they were progressing through the diagnosis. Turned out it was a fuel injector stuck open. Z worked up a quote for me which I thought was fair and I told them to go ahead and do it. A little while later I got another email from Z saying he double checked with Audi and I actually had some warranty remaining for the issue. He said take it up to the dealership and theyll do it under warranty for you and thats what I did. I paid JHM the diagnostic fee and that was it. They could have charged me for the work that I had given them the go ahead for but they didnt because they found a way to save me some money. I will definitely be taking my A5 back to these guys. Thanks guys!!!

Had my Audi b5 s4 transmission sent here to have it worked on. Transmission Rebuilt 01E-EDU MT (JHM) for B5-S4, C5-A6 2.7t w/ JHM Collar, Synchros. Great communication. Stoked to have a built tranny. They did a great job. ONE PROBLEM THAT COST ME ANOTHER $900.00 at Audi dealership after I had the new tranny put in. JHM uses other peoples cores. The magnetic ring that interacts with the vehicle speed sensor inside the transmission on the drivers side busted right around 1000 miles on the new tranny. This stopped my speedomoter and odometer and put the car in limp mode. I called JHM and they said there is nothing they can do. THIS IS A HEADS UP TO CUSTOMERS!!!!

I had a bad experience with this place. I paid $110 for a diagnosis on my 04 audi a8. Originally I was told that both front shocks were blown out. Then the story changed and 1 shock was blown out. Then after I had another place work on it neither shock was blown out but it seemed to be an actuator problem. They were very hard to get a hold of and did not want to communicate by phone but by email. Then I was told to change over to coilovers it was $1300 then the price change to $2100. They dont seem to know much about audi a8 cars. They also said I needed rear brakes when I do not. They also refused to refund my $110.

Spend 300+ another 22 in shipping to send a 10 dollar package ,absolutely none of the parts that were supposed to be OEM came in a box , just in random bags then stuffed in a HUGE box . Then when you spend 300 they limit your shipping options and over charge and send it the slowest way possible,WTF is that ? Most places ship free anything over 100 , after the over charging of shipping , for everything I purchased it could have been bought elsewhere for less ! Im still in shock that OEM parts come in a bag lol, this place will not see my money again.

I have bought center diff up grade 4;1for Audi All road c5 from JHM I HAVE A LOTS OF PROBLEM NOW , there is no difference on performance ,when i received the unit was the seem, the car is vibrating like mad ,and loosing drive the engine revs up and the car not moving , i dont have the old core so i could put it back like it was before, and after all JHM said check your work , i hope this review help other user.

Excellent Company to work with. They stand behind their products 100%. I dont usually leave reviews but they truely take care of their customers. Only company that I have came across that will not sell you a product unless R&D is 100% done.(tried several times Dru will not budge unless product is perfect). Thank you again. The JHM Supercharger has turned my 09 v8 s5 into a beast.

I ordered a downpipe hardware kit and realized I needed the turbo hardware kit. They would not work with me on returning it even though it was not used and they would not make it work with me on pricing since I technically already had half the turbo hardware kit just needs oil seal ect. So now I have a dowpipe hardware kit I have to sell and hopefully get my money back.

Awesome crew at JHM. Performed excellent work on my RS4 and even stored it for me whilst overseas. I now rock their Stage I supercharger and the car is a new beast! I would definitely recommend any Audi or VW owner to JHM!
