Its nice to have unique Asian dessert place in America, it is however a bit pricey for what they offer. Food is absolutely delicious but staffs needs to move faster when preparing the meals. New review: 3/27/2017 Used to come here all the time with my family and friends. This place is going downhill with their ridiculous pricing, service attitude, and stingy amount of toppings. I spent $7.92 on this bowl that looked like it has been savaged already when it was on the counter. The guy who I brought up my question to, barely bothered to look up and answer my questions. The other lady was friendlier and helped me out with my questions. Now my understanding is that the portion theyre giving is the policy of the company, that said, Im definitely giving it one star then. If it was employee mistake that wouldve been fine, as long as they fixed it. Personal opinion but I will not be recommending friends to Meetfresh in this location anymore. The picture I included , is a bowl that I havent touched at all besides placing the spoon on the side. I dont know , what do you guys think? Its pathetic.

Not really sure why this place is so busy and full of patrons. The dessert comes out quickly, the seating areas are not that full and it shares space with a tea/milk tea shop next door. The line to order, however, was ridiculously long and slow moving because theres only 1 cashier taking orders. I dont know, I guess thats a new strategy for some businesses, to manufacture a long line to bring hype to the place. The menu is large and confusing, it doesnt really specify what the differences are between items and each item seemed pretty similar. They could simplify the menu by just allowing you to choose a base, toppings, hot or cold but they try to list all the different combinations. Pretty stupid if you ask me. Anyway the food came out quickly after ordering but Im not a big fan of these types of dessert.

Great place for Chinese porridge (hot or cold). It can seem a bit pricey for what is considered a comfort food, but believe me, one bowl is enough for two people. Id say this is a great spot for anyone with a hankering for red bean soup. Couple of things to note: 1. It gets really packed in a flash. Sometimes youll walk into the like by yourself, and when you turn back after ordering theres 15+ people behind you. 2. They run out of taro rice balls, rice balls, and sesame balls very quickly. If you come here at after 5PM, be prepared for none of the above. 3. Dont sit near the doors. Theres a lot of patrons here who are ignorant and would leave the door jutted open on a rainy windy night as they walk in.

加工過的東西(淡紫色芋圓、黃色地瓜圓、白色湯圓),顏色不同,味道卻沒分別。The difference of processed items (taro balls, sweet potato balls, rice balls, etc.) are just colors, not flavors. 未加工的薏仁、地瓜、花生,尚可。Unprocessed items, like barley, sweet potatoes, peanuts, are OK.

If you want an enjoyable experience, get there right when they open! They open at 11am (Saturday), and we got there around 11:20am and there was no wait. I ordered the cold Meet Fresh Signature Herbal Jelly and a hot winter melon tea. Both were delicious. I havent had a decent herbal jelly dessert in many years outside of Asia, and the consistency of the taro balls that came with it were just right also. And the winter melon tea.. mmMmm! Cant wait to go back and try other desserts, but I wouldnt wait in a ridiculous line for it. I did notice a line was starting to form around noon. So go early!

Its definitely an enjoyable novelty finally having the Meet Fresh franchise nearby. The desserts are as good and fresh as advertised. Unfortunately, if you want to try Meet Fresh, expect to be in a line for an hour and a half. Management, or corporate, or whoever is in charge of this place needs to take a operation management class at their community college and implement an better service process. While seemingly harsh, they are painfully inefficient with their time management and - and this cuts into the customers experience. tl:dr - foods great, service - not so much.

Really good if you like grass jelly (called herbal jelly here but most of us know it as grass jelly). Its that black slimy jello like substance. I like it so it was delicious but I many who dont like it. Its connected to tea chansii so others of your party can get boba tea if they arent into the grass jelly desserts. The place is really.roomy and lots of tables, including one large community table in the center, plus outdoor seating. Only negative is the line. It moves slowly plus its very long.

Tip: Meet Fresh is a popular dessert chain from Taiwan. Soft opening hours are from 12 pm to noon and wait times were up to 1 hour opening weekend. Parking also very challenging. The Taro #4 and the Meet Fresh Signature Cold are their most popular items consisting of sweet black sesame soup, Mochi like taro fillings and red bean. Novel and different for the area, but best to wait until lines calm down.

Best part about this place is that the dessert doesnt make you feel question/bloated/a terrible human being. It tastes great (not very sweet at all) which allows you to consume more without the guilt or getting too tired of it. The signature dish is a good place to start. It comes with grass jelly and some mochi things. Id try to get some shaved ice specialty if you have a bigger crew to share it with.

The amount of toppings is absurdly low now. Ive been here five times in the past two months. Today, we got the signature hot that weve had in every trip, but the amount of toppings today was probably half of what we used to get. We used to complain about the lines and it was still nuts tonight, but I dont think the lines will stay long with their new level of toppings. We wont be coming back!

Meet fresh is famous for the Herb Jelly and Taros. (That means the Boba tea is really not why you go for.) If you want double the value, order the Herb Jelly. I think there is another tea place next to each other, I were wondering how could they make tea drinks out of an expresso machine.... Anyway... lets leave some mystery to that, and just go herb jelly (signature ;>)

We have eaten Meet Fresh few times in Orange County and in Taipei. This one by far is their biggest one and the line here are crazy. Yes the deserts are good, but not worth the 1 hour wait and the price is crazy too for what you get. We tried it for fun, but wouldn’t do it again. FYI, the one in Taipai is tiny and nothing special, their re-branding in America is amazing!

Meet Fresh is a great place to get asian dessert. The only issue I had there was that there is always a huge line on the weekends. Try to get there early, also if you just want boba tea just buy it from the place inside the same building as Meet Fresh. Theyre operated by the same people and they use the same ingredients and always none to 3 people in line.

Spare yourself and avoid coming on Friday and weekend evenings. You will have to wait for a long time and spent more time looking for a place to sit. Food is decent but definitely not worth over an hour wait. I would recommend the soft tofu dessert the best, and the signature taro shaved ice with boba, taro balls, sweet potato balls and taro chucks.
